This hotel is in a good location for airport,it was just tired,needs bringing upto date

The location for the airport is spot on.

The room was very noisy all night long! Doors banging etc all night. The hotel needs a good deep clean and most certainly requires a full refurbish.

Friendly staff ideal for airport

The breakfast staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was clean, I could open the window for fresh air. Accessible as on the ground floor. Quiet. Had a bath in the en suite and the shower, although old was powerful and warm. Across the road, and you're at the airport, so the location is brilliant, and it's easy to get to. Fairly decent prices to stay and park/ fly

The parking isn't very good. I'm disabled and there are only 4? TINY DISABLED spaces (full) and the whole car park was full. Not much room to maneuver. Lady on reception didn't offer to help me, said i can drop my bags, go find a space and then check in (travelling alone, first time away in a while and i felt really anxious and sad by this). The hotel decor is very dated. Lots of 'retro' wooden furniture in the rooms. Handles fall off. No vegan breakfast options. Bed in room very narrow and could do with some thinner pillows. Whole building could do with being updated, lick of paint, new furniture and beds.

Only one set of towels when a room for 2. Spare pillows had no covers on. Soap dispenser in shower empty. Bar staff good but heart radio blasting. The reception lady was very helpful.

The beds we’re comfortable. The lift was quick.

It needed refurbishing. They had no double beds. On talking with the Manager he said they had only two double beds in the hotel. No shower with easy access. They had no USB plugs in the room. Plus they charged for Wi-Fi. Plus they charged you for breakfast before you had it.

I booked the room last minute and I was surprised by how good everything was,great location if you need to catch an early flight and also very good service. Much recommended

Poor directions to get to the entrance when not coming by car. Had to walk on a road in the dark to get there, as did others!

this is very much an airport hotel and it serves its purpose . great value if catching an early flight and just a short walk to the terminal . Bar in premises does meals and drinks and all reasonably priced . really good breakfast served at an extra cost but well worth it . rooms are on the small side and basic , but , as said earlier , it does the job . Friendly, helpful staff

The flexibility of the hotel in rearranging my booking due to the flooding in Auckland. Booking.com started to help then said I would have to pay, the hotel were kind to me and moved the booking due to the airport closure and cancelled flights. Hotel was just what I needed. Thankyou to Natalie for rearranging the booking and Leanne for the early check-in allowing me to crash after flying for 24hrs. I will definitely use this hotel again.
