Beautiful hotel, lovely staff in a very central location. It was perfect for a long weekend stay and we will definitely be back.

Das Zimmer war sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und die Betten für vier Personen sehr bequem.

Leider gab es kein Internet, während wir dort waren und das Wasser in der Dusche war sehr heiß und es war nicht möglich es kälter zu stellen.

good location and friendly, helpful staffs

Nous sommes arrivés assez tard du Pays de Galles, accueillis très chaleureusement par l'hôtesse d'accueil qui a même monté nos bagages à l'étage. La chambre cette fois-ci était spacieuse et propre. Nos deux enfants étaient dans un lit superposé, du thé/café/bouilloire à disposition. Une belle TV et des lit/draps super confortables. La chambre était bien insonorisée, la localisation de l’hôtel est parfaite et le Parking devant l'hôtel est GRATUIT ! Wouhouuu c'est rare en Angleterre. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter car nous n'avons pas pu tester le petit-déjeuner, ni le jardin ou le salon/lounge qui est fabuleusement décoré.

Lors d'un précédent séjour nous avions été mis dans la chambre du RDC qui donne sur le parking, cette chambre, même si spacieuse était peu lumineuse et manquait de charme. Les fenêtres étaient bloquées en position fermées et cela faisait penser à une chambre de sous sol de garage. Nous avions été déçus de cette chambre (même si l'accueil et le reste de l'hôtel étaient parfaits).

Zimmer und Bad waren sehr klein, besonders das Waschbecken.

Die Lage war gut, obwohl wir ein Zimmer zur befahrenen Straße hatten und es bei offenem Fenster sehr laut ist.

Friendly informative staff at check in Clean comfortable room, great location, walking distance to seafront, and Bournemouth international centre (about 12 minutes) a little up hill on way back.

For us, nothing to not like really but, if your mobility is not good, the stairs could be a problem.

Friendly and clean in great location for beach and town facilities. The owners kindly stored my bike so I didn’t need to leave it in my car overnight.

Cold water available in reception to drink as water in taps quite warm.

Breakfast started at 830, we had to leave earlier than that for a flight out from gatwick so couldn’t make use of breakfast.

Applewood Hotel was very clean, comfortable beds with a fare sized room for our family of 4, added bonus of free parking on the property.The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend it to others.

Couple of maintenance issues. Light bulbs missing, TV not working . Didn’t impact on the stay though.

Lovely hotel, clean and fresh. Very reasonably priced. Stayed in a basic room and it was as expected. Lovely friendly welcoming owners. Perfect eggs for breakfast.! If ever we venture that way again we would definately stay at Applewood hotel :))

First two nights were very quiet, no voices late at night or banging doors. Very clean, WiFi good. Staff friendly, downstairs decor in entrance looked very inviting.

Unusually I booked a single room this trip. The photo of the room on booking.com wasn’t the same - no chair in the corner just an uncomfortable stool. Both pillows lumpy and hard. The bed was a small single so not easy to get comfortable in. The bathroom was painfully small. I am 5’5” and petite but I could not wash my face in the sink because it was tiny and the glass shelf above it hit me in the head. Not easy to brush teeth either. Shower stall very small, I still have a bruise on my head from very painfully banging it on the soap dish when bending down to pick up my toiletries as nowhere else to put them. Cold water tap ran hot, had to fiddle with it and let it run for 5+ minutes to get cool drinking water. Water pressure in the shower very weak unless you want a scorching hot shower. Seems to be an issue with cold water in the room.

It was close to the town centre and the beach.

If possible have someone at reception at all times. After checking out we left our bags with at the hotel with the plan of picking them up a few hours later ahead of our train home. When we returned to the hotel there was no one at reception therefore we got anxious that we may miss our train home. Fortunately I caught the attention of another guest staying at the hotel who kindly opened the reception door for us so that we could collect our bags.

The room was spacious and had a large comfy bed. Lovely modern decoration. Tea and coffee facilities Small table and chairs by the big windows which was nice to sit and drink my coffee in the morning. Bathroom was clean and shower was powerful. Plenty of towels Only met one member of staff (check in) but she was lovely and friendly. Free parking

I would have preferred to have smaller personal bottles of shampoo etc rather than large ones on the wall. Also, the table was peeling away a little so needs replacing or repainting.

Beautiful furnishing, squeaky clean. Very comfy and very large bed.

Great location. Single room upgraded to a very comfortable double. Large medium firm bed with clean linen provided a good nights sleep. Ambient temperature controllable and duvet light but warm. Usual tea/coffee facilities and plenty of electrical sockets. Spacious ensuite, powerful shower and plenty of hot water but no heating in bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking on hotel grounds and convenient location for both Bournemouth and Poole. Very good value two night deal.

The bathroom had no heating and was always cold. There was no shaver socket. Breakfast very limited and the pre-order system didn't work very well.

This property was lovely and clean. Bright and refreshing well decorated I instantly felt comfortable. My room again was very well presented and clean. Definitely recommend staying A+

The location was great!

Stairs and landing creaked a lot. No lift facilities for anyone with a large suitcase. The room was very cold with the curtains visibly being blown by the wind. Heater didn’t work, when I complained the receptionist looked at the smart meter. It was obvious that they were more interested in keeping the bills down, nothing was done. Single bed in a tiny room with toilet/shower facilities across the hallway. Key to toilet was difficult to open, so you stood there a while trying to open the door, while incoming guests looked at you. It was very humiliating.

I thought a cooked Breakfast would have Been nice., in with the price.
