Heritage room in which I stayed was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good but the variety was limited The staff were very helpful and friendly.
since Mumbai has limited space so it is understandable that hotel in heart of south mumbai will have limited facilities. If swimming pool was there it would have been good.

The hotel was in the heart of the town which was the ideal location and we felt very safe. We travelled across India staying in 5 star luxury hotels which didn't compare to Residency Hotel Fort and the first class staff who catered for our every need.
Breakfast was a delight each morning with an excellent choice of food served with a smile with lots of character from all of the hotel staff which made for a great atmosphere to start the day. Nothing was too much trouble and any bookings to explore Mumbai could all be made through the hotel at reception where the hotel manager would get you the very best deal and you always felt in safe hands. A hotel manager that you can trust who I had the up most respect for as he did us. 1000% I recommend Residency Hotel Fort which I will visit again in the not so distant future. If it was up to me I would class Residency Hotel Fort as a 6 STAR Hotel.
We liked absolutely everything and wish we were back there again. There is nothing to dislike.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet! Alles vorhanden, was man braucht! Es ist hell, die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut! Das Badezimmer ist sauber und gut und alles funktioniert. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Werde sicher wieder kommen!

Fantastic option for the price is a central part of Mumbai. It was close to all of the key attractions and was great value for money considering the prices of other nearby hotels. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. The staff in particular were friendly and helpful with lots of tips.
No issues or complaints. As of February 2024 there is some construction work nearby but it's not overly loud. If you are a sensitive sleeper maybe just pack some earplugs in case.

Eine private Tour durch die Stadt wurde für uns organisiert, die tolle Einblicke in das Leben in Mumbai gab.
Die Lage des Hotels in einer ruhigen Sackgasse war ein perfekter Startpunkt zum Erkunden der Stadt. Viele Highlights und Restaurants im typischen India-Style waren in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Aber vor allem die freundlichen Mitarbeiter machten unseren kurzen Aufenthalt zu einem Highlight!

Great breakfast - slightly complex Wifi network but it did work once you were in. Shower was slow to warm up but nice once it was. Staff were very friendly both in reception and in breakfast too. Breakfast was really excellent with good selection and attentive staff.
Unfortunately we were there when some reconstruction work was going on and on the first night they were still banging at 12.30am!! They seemed surprised initially that I (and one other guest at the same time) were complaining. It carried on the other nights but stopped at 9pm. I'm sure it was a one off. They also had a silly rule about no visitors in the rooms. That's fine over night but not in the afternoon - that's just annoying

I stayed at Residency for two nights, the room was in great condition.
Staff was really friendly and helpful. Location is really great and most of the restaurants are walking distance from the hotel.
Couple of dust spots here and there which should've been cleaned. The room I booked showed a study/ work desk but the room I stayed did not had the desk. Bathroom needs to be spot cleaned.
But overall it was a great room.

Stopped for 4 nights. Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you and very polite. Room was spotless, cleaned daily. Amazing breakfast with both continental and Indian options and made fresh everyday, Dosa and Samosas were brilliant. Brilliant location 5 mins from the train station and all the shops/markets.

A good place to stay as a base for exploring Mumbai. Good and sufficient facilities, but I would especially like to emphasize the great staff. Even before our arrival, the communication
via booking was fast and efficient. From reception to room cleaning to the cooks and housekeepers, everyone was very courteous and friendly, even when we asked the tenth question. We were also relieved of so much organization at short notice, which was very relaxing and took the pressure off. The recommended tour agency was excellent. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast with regional and traditional food, some also prepared freshly just for you. You can change money (€) without additional charge.
The rooms could generally be cleaned better, especially the bathroom and the air conditioning. However, it is very good for an Indian room. There is a screw sticking out on the floor in the bathroom. If a guest is careless, this could end painfully. The windows are single glazed and therefore it is noisy at night. There are often problems with the room cards.

The room we had was always clean, the beds were very comfortable too, coming for work it was perfect to sleep in this suite to have a good night of sleep. Breakfast is always good too and the servers are very nice and friendly!

Anazing experience! Service and hospitality was top notch, everyone of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us to find best places to shop and eat and also took care of transfers with spacious taxies.
