El agua caliente no funcionó y el servicio en el desayuno fue un poco demorado.

Casa Quero is a beautiful colonial hotel. The room we stayed at was very spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious. The room had plenty of ventilation, something that is very important to us. The A/C kept the space nice and cool. We loved the rooftop pool. Every morning we would go to the pool for a while and then enjoy the hotel provided, made to order, breakfast. On our last day, the staff made us "arepa de huevo", a local staple, for breakfast.

Despite being in a really busy area, the hotel was so quiet and peaceful. After a few very noisy nights in Medellin, we slept so well here! It also had a beautiful rooftop pool and really cute nice public sitting areas.
Our room was quite large with great AC. The bathroom was also really large and had a really nice shower with great water pressure.
Overall, we loved how historic the hotel was and how friendly the staff was. It was a beautiful place to stay!!
Nothing it was great!

Awesome 17th century house, huge rooms with A/C, pool available, very well located
We paid a high price and they didn’t include breakfast, didn’t complete the “boutique hotel” experience for us

Amazing stay! Beautiful decor and spacious rooms with comfy beds and great air conditioning. The rooftop pool is perfect. Highly recommend.

beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of Cartagena’s old town.

close to everything but at the same time very private, quiet at night, nice decor, and grand cathedral style ceilings. clean rooms and staff is super friendly and helpful. would stay again. superb breakfast a la carte
lights went out one night but it was a neighborhood issue. they don’t have a back up generator but they do have emergency lights for the common areas.

Perfect location in the old city, friendly and helpful staff, spacious spotless (and cool!) rooms, nice rooftop pool. Overall fantastic experience!
It takes an engineering PhD to figure out the temperature adjustment of the shower.

Like everywhere in Colombia, the service was great.
The building keeps it old fashioned charm but is very beautiful too. And the swimming pool on the roof top is really nice, with a stunning view on Cartagena.
Its location, in the middle of the heart of Cartagena, at a 5mn walk from Getsemani is perfect.
Everything was perfect.

Very nice rooms! The swimming pool was very great! The staff (cleaning ladies were super friendly). We would stay again! Also close to the city centre.
The neighbours were noisy, but you have to be lucky with that in whole Cartagena I think. The hotel could not do anything about this as this was not in their power.
We also were dissapointed we could not use the pool anymore after we checked-out and in waiting time for our taxi to get to the airport. Didn't see the point in not allowing this to us.

location
bed was comfortable
so many things were wrong though:
- price taxi that the hotel arranged back to the airport didn’t correspond with what driver eventually asked at the airport when going back (asked for 25% more)
- reception pretended I drank water from the minibar at checkout and insisted to charge me while I certainly didn’t do that.
- little ants on the desk
- toilet clogged all the time due to the lack of water
- extremely simple in terms of accessories: no conditioner, body lotion, hairdryer, ear and make up cotton, shave, no pool towel
- mold on the ceiling of the bathroom
- shower is soo bad, it barely has water and the shower head is so wide that you can’t even wash the sand off
- breakfast was not nice, apart from the fruit
- no air conditioning in the hotel apart from the rooms
- lock of the door didn’t close easily
- very dark rooms despite super bright pictures on the site

Rooms
- Big, comfortable rooms with plenty of space to move around and drawers to put clothes, toiletries, etc. . .
Location
- Great location: at walking distance from downtown the Serrezuela mall but quiet.
Rooms
- the hot water tap of the shower doesn't work whether you follow the written instructions or not. The bathroom mirror should have better lighting to shave.
Service
- I asked the reception guy to fix the (lack of) hot water problem at the shower (he admitted there was a problem). He said yes sir of course or whatever then did absolutely nothing. So I had to take cold showers every day I was there.

the jetted tub didn’t work

The room smelled like mold when I arrived and through my entire stay. I’m sure its from the rain and humidity. But I could see mold growing on one of the ceiling beams above the bed and in the bathroom. It was noisy at night, either from staff chattering, the room above me blasting music from a personal speaker or music coming from another hotel. There was no sleeping in — you could hear staff chatting and preparing meals in the kitchen from 7am. I was there four nights and barely slept two of them. The first night there was loud music and partying until 6am. The second night I slept. The third night there was partying until about 2am. The fourth night it was relatively quiet. The staff are extremely nice and caring! I felt safe throughout my entire stay and the WiFi worked great. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn’t expect to relax at the hotel much and just needs a place to rest their head for a few hours before partying or day tours.

beautiful old building in a pretty good location, with great, pleasant and helpful staff. Good aircon and room size with very high ceiling. Very quiet. Small pool on roof is nice place to relax.
Overpriced: Weak and intermittent WIFI in room plus tricky and intermittent hot water and too much trouble flushing toilet with very slow/stalled refilling were the major annoyances. A lot of mosquitos at the basic, limited and time consuming breakfast, the tiny safe doesn’t fit laptop, and stairs only.

Location is perfect, away from big touristic hotspot, closer to the coolest local attractions. Staff is friendly, warm, going all the way to satisfy patrons. Rooms are large, beautiful and clean.
nothing. water temperature goes up and down, but not too bad.

Let me start by focusing on the staff! Just amazing they help us with transport needs, restaurant recommendations etc. They were like family. The Breakfast is just amazing. The location is great - goo restaurants nearby and walking distance to all the attractions of the old city. the pool is nice too. (BUT AGAIN IF YOU WANT SERVICE; THIS TEAM WILL DELIVER, THEY ARE SO NICE) I was there with the Kids and they made us feel at home.

A gorgeous room (we booked a deluxe room): 5-meter high ceilings, tastefully decorated, spacious bathroom, a balcony / terrace overlooking the Quero street. The hotel itself is located in an old casa with cozy patios. The location is San Diego, which is the quiet part of the Old Town with not so much noise during night time.
When we first arrived the lobby was full of luggage and people waiting for something. The lady at the reception could be somewhat more welcoming and helpful to the guests.

I loved this hotel so bad! It has a beautiful architecture and interior design. The breakfast arepas de huevo were crisp and tasty, the bed super conformable and the bathroom is a dream. I'll defo be back, also the staff was friendly and helpful.
