The experience of being in the heart of Cartagena in a colonial house!

Not having drinks or snacks to buy in the Casa, you must go out to go to a supermarket.

Center location, very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with hot water. Intimate rooftop pool.

Variety of the breakfast

Such a peaceful and tranquil setting yet right in the heart of the city. Made us feel we were on our own!

the front desk person Julio César was such an amazing host, he took really good care of me and my fiancé. I also loved the architecture of the house. next time I want to rent one of the apartments inside the house and not just a room. the room we stayed at was a bit small and dark and damped.

our room was the only thing I did t like, I think it just needs renovation, the shower drain didn’t drain as intended and the water was almost reaching the bedroom, the shower part of the bathroom didn’t have a door so water splashes happened often. also the window in the bathroom had two gaps on the side and Cartagena is incredibly hot and humid so it was hard to keep the bathroom dry and cool. very damped and the room had low crawling so it was just dark over all. I had a chance to look at the apartments and I would definitely come back with my family to rent one of those. they are gorgeous. one last thing and this is not Casa Pombos fault or the staff’s fault. the house is located on a busy street and if you have a room facing the plaza you won’t be able to sleep. it is increasingly noisy with the many hustles on the streets playing loud rap music.

Beautiful courtyard/pool, great location, peacefuñ

Fantastic place in the walled city. We chose the 3bed flat for my parents, my husband and my son. It was overlooking at the main courtyard/pool which was lovely (FYI no noise came from the courtyard). The kitchen is fully equipped so it was great doing my son’s light meals (a toddler… so easier to manage at home). Sunsets in the terrace on the 3rd floor are a must. Julio from the reception was super kind and very helpful.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! the best pancakes i have ever ate in my life. the service from everyone was beyond. Our initial room had a problem with the drain in the bathroom and the hotel gave us a beautiful upgraded room. This experience was one for the books! cant wait to return!

it’s beautiful to the eye for sure

cleanliness, uncomfortable bed, bed was dirty with paint chips, and ceiling leaked in 2 locations into living room made stay difficult.

The staff was lovely and very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect. Good restaurants less than a block away.

The condition of the hotel was not so desirable, the room and bathroom was not very clean, there were drain flies y the bathroom. Not good.

Great front desk staff when we arrived and they were able to get us a room a few hours before the official check in. Beautiful building on the inside and amazing location.

We went to bed a little after 11:30 but were awoken around 1am to thumping music as though we were underneath a night club that went on until 2:55am. Could not go back to sleep and had a 3:30am wake up for a flight. Appeared to potentially cut some corners on cleaning, i.e. you could tell they used furniture polish on the nightstands to keep them looking shiny because there was a film. The older charm is great, but some items in the room need to be updated like the pillows and nightstand lamps.
