I like having a kitchenette like that one. The toilet is nice and private. The television was clear.
I appreciated having a late check in because I travelled 3hrs to the hospital and wasn’t able to check in till late.
The shower hot water was either too hot or cold, it was difficult to get the right temperature.
I would like a safety chain on the door. I pushed the kitchen table and chair against it for added security.
I would like a small iron and ironing board.

Friendly staff member I booked in with.
She understood my requirements. A RA Scan to get the key when I arrived to go straight to the room after the scan.
Scan was delayed 2 hours got back 4pm from 2pm. I went straight to my room.
Noise from next doors - both sides when they ran their kichen tap.
It would have been great to have a 250ml box of milk.
The room was reasonably quiet which I asked for.
Firm Bed.

Initially we were bit hesitant of staying here after reading few negative reviews but we had great rest while staying here overnight. Owner and receptionist were friendly and professional. Beds were super comfy and clean. Thanks!

Pleasant place to stay. Host was welcoming and very accommodating during our stay. Bed sheets and towels were more than enough and clean.
Staff were kind and never had any issue. Rooms were quiet and private as walls are built with bricks and concrete.
Heat pump was near new and wasn’t smelly.
Great location as it is right off the state highway 1 in Whangarei town, which is very handy to access the CBD.
I would definitely return when I’m back in Whangarei.

The room was great, very comfortable and spacious.
She tried to put me in a room I didn't want or booked for.
I was told "no visitors make sure no visitors" then when my family came to pick us up their small dog managed to jump out of car and into our room we tried apologizing she pointed her finger at us and said "no, no dogs" I thought that was very abrupt.

Host Lady was beautiful and helpful.

Owners made us feel like they didn't have want us there and almost never returned our bond cause we didn't have the bond receipt even though we had our room payment receipt and we were only the 2nd or 3rd visitors staying there.
Booking into the room was such a hassle especially since we had travelled from afar, both of us from 2 different locations and we could only book in together not one at a time as soon as we arrived. My nephew arrived at 2pm, We booked into our room at 10pm due to this fact we ahd to book in together and my nephew who stayed couldn't drop of his bags or park his car to go to the event we were staying in town for.

It was as I expected. Clean, tidy and they had nice fleecy sheets on the bed. Was great to have been upgraded to a King Studio at no extra charge.
Shower head was pointed to the end of the bath so when I turned it on if went all over the bathroom floor and spilled out into the kitchen. Had to use all the towels to mop it up

The owners were rude and spoke little English. The woman put her hands on me (tapping aggressively) screaming at me that no visitors were allowed. I travelled with my newborn baby last minute to a funeral in whangarei and paid $160 for a motel that needs a massive makeover. Holes in the wall, mould in the bathroom and extremely old furniture.

great freindly people

Handy to a function we attended.
The guests next door were very loud and their language wasn’t desirable. Also cotton sheets would have been more comfortable instead of the polar flannel ones that had matted. I also had the cleaner open the door at 8.15am when I was still in bed.
3.3
well equipped kitchenette, large bathroom with shower, very clean unit.
Staff friendly, helpful and obliging. Quiet room appreciated.

These rude, nasty, disrespectful and just straight horrible unprofessional oweners of the central court motel kicked me and my partner out after 3 hours claiming I was prostituting because my partner went and got us dinner and came back and at the same time he got back a friend of ours came to have dinner and catch up while we were in town. We had dinner and because I was/am sick (just the flu) I needed to go to bed and they left to go have a drink and play the pokies. But before they even left the driveway I had a knock on the door and the owners pushed me aside and barged thru telling me I had to leave and didn't even try to let me explain or listen to me. And wldnt give me a refund. We had to sleep in the car and it's really cold at night at the moment. And it didn't help my flue at all. Ended up horrificly more sick. Almost went to A&E
Everything

Nothing at all
Cockroaches above the bed and on hotplate rude staff was made to pay a bond (never had to before without knowing) and fill out all the paper work again then told over and over again about police felt judged (young Maori couple ) very hard to understand ask a lot of questions like we’re did my partner go at 6am ? The sheets 🤢 Wouldn’t recommend staying here

Large 2brm unit, well equipped kitchen. Quiet and convenient location
3.3
The TV was Ok but no instructions and shower was good.
Hard to understand the staff as English was second language
3.3
The shower had good pressure.
The beds were quite small and uncomfortable with no headboard ok if you push the single bed into it. The rooms were quite hot and humid but the aircon is only switched on for use at particular times during the year. The decor could do with an update and there were ants on the bench everyday even with a thorough clean. A door between the toilet and shower room would be an improvement.

This motel was close to where our family were staying. Literally 3min away.
The young lady who answered the phone was very efficient and polite.
I booked this property on booking.com and entered all of my details etc when I arrived I had to pay $100.00 bond? Never had that anywhere else and I've used this website heaps. Then He wanted me to manually write
and sign everything on paper...what's the point in giving you my details on line then? Then you drill me with 21 unnecessary question's for a good 15min?
The welcome from the owner at reception, I assume this owner has had some bad experience's with emergency housing and in particularly Maori? I will not post the conversation him and I had but I will say that not all people are bad people and we are a multicultural nation now so either learn some culture or get yourself some manners quickly! I won't be the last Maori wahine to take you on I can guarantee that.
Cups were dirty, we didn't eat or cook there anyway but still...

Was very clean, the lady at the front desk was very nice and cared about the experience and upgraded the room for free. The car parks are very close to the rooms.
All the lights were very bright, no lamp option for later at night.
I was suprised to see that the bedsheets were non linen but instead itchy fleece material
3.3
Staff were pleasant, obliging and kind. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Room was well serviced daily.
When we arrived, two lightbulbs were missing, and it turned out those lights did not work. We reported this to the staff in the evening, and they fixed it the next day. Well done, but they should have been in working order when we arrived.

communication with the employee is awful. she don’t really understand english. She didn‘t care about the guest and their problems. We didn‘t felt very welcome. We asked her why are the water in the shower is cold. she only said yes, that happens. That was so disappointing.

location was great, was clean and met our needs
room was small

The advertised nights fee was good for the location.
Paid for a night's stay on arrival by card after filling in the usual check in details and was then told we needed to fill in another form and pay a $100 bond that would be given back onto our card 1 hour after checkout which is not mentioned anywhere on booking.com. We wouldn't have stayed if we knew before we paid for it. Notice on the wall in the room states to clean and wipe down benches after use but no tea towels or dishcloth! The step up into the shower box was over a foot high easily which was a concern when getting out. Photos showed that the room had a couch but didn't. Late checkout fees are horrendous and only in the book in the room not advertised in its policies on booking.com. The experience was not pleasant and spoilt our night out which was $100 less than we could of used. Really disappointed.

Just friendly, clean and handy to everything
