The toilet or handbasin not sound

Location was good. Staff was helpful

The car parking was really bad. There's a big storage container in the carpark that prevents you being able to maneuver the car in or out of the car park when there are other cars around. The light in the bathroom was flickering and not working properly. There was a slug in the bathroom basin.

Last minute booking to stay closer to the airport s we had an early flight. Went to check in around 3.30 or so and were told our room wasn't ready. Came back about an hour later, and we could access or studio. Appeared to be recently renovated, there were renovations going on at other parts of the complex Had an on site restaurant which was a bonus, as the traffic later on in the day was a nightmare. Food was lovely. Only around 4 km from rental car return area. Also had specific accommodation for backpackers and a shuttle service to the airport, that ran regularly, The Yellow Bus ?

The Motel was closed, so we could not avail ourselves of the services offered. What is most upsetting is that we didn't receive any prior notice that the facility was closed for flood repairs until 1 April, until we arrived at the door. Greatly annoyed by this and caused a great deal of problems in eventually finding accommodation some considerable distance away.

It was clean and tidy

We booked for 3 adults but only 2 towels were there There was milk in fridge but no tea coffee or sugar It said self cleaning kitchen but No tea towel, detergent or dish cloth.

The beds were surprisingly very comfortable. For a budget accomodation, we had a great sleep. Easy check in and out. There was a shuttle from the airport.

The shower was nice and big but the shower head was not the best. The room was dated but we didn't care we were just there for a quick stopover. The shuttle from the airport was packed and only came every 40 minutes. It stopped at all the different hotels near the airport to drop people off. 40 min wait plus 20-25mins to get to our hotel was a long wait after a 10hr flight.

breakfast was poor

Appalling. Carpets were sticky, with a wet patch in one area, which made the room smell damp. Flies. Dead Insects on bathroom ceiling. Dirty windows and ripped curtains. Room felt damp.

Restaurant staff were nice

I am a manager at a Motel in Chch. The level of cleanliness was disgusting. Insects and filthy bench tops. Screaming from residents at 3am. Cleaners left our door open with our valuables inside. Would never stay again

The ceiling repairs was done in Ply over the toilet. No tea towel provide to wipe dishes. The window was bent and twisted. Mosquitoes hovering in room and bathroom. Toilet seat loose. It appears it is being used for emergency housing.

Convenient

Breakfast was very pricey, $19 for rice crispies and two slices of toast......

Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Grounds were very untidy with rubbish around parking area and a ton of bird poop outside motel room door. Thin walls and could hear the neighbors TV at 5am. Bed was ok and clean, but motel kitchen and bathroom very old and hand rail in bathroom broken. No hand towel supplied and only 2 bath towels for 3 people. Luckily it was a quick trip and only needed a place to sleep....hopefully the hotel is nicer than the motel.

Cupboards didn't close, no dish cloth or tea towels was told they had run out.... shampoo holder broken and stains on bed spread
