The staff were helpful, especially helped with getting luggage down the stairs
We had disabilities and were given a first floor room with no access to a lift.
The room was extremely hot, with no air conditioning and the window opened such a small way that no air could come through. Neither of us cos sleep as it was so hot.

Decent location. The lady on reception was really friendly and helpful.
Got a last minute booking. Didn’t realise there was a wedding taking place and we had a room above the function suite until arrival. Reception was packed with the guests, understandably but very difficult to navigate through. We arrived at around 2.30 being told check in was at 2.00. The cleaner was still in the room with the TV blaring, she was quite rude when we informed her that we had booked it and had been sent up, stating “someone should have called and asked her”. Ultimately decided not stay.

the downstairs area was really lovely, and the staff were really nice
our room was horrendous. the room hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupants, so the bathroom was covered in hair, we had no new toilet roll added from previous people so we ran out, the bed was unmade and there was rubbish everywhere. when we did try to get to sleep, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable.

You were made to feel very at ease, the staff are brilliant very helpful and the food and the rooms are very good, relaxing atmosphere.
Would like the local bus timetables to be more readily available, helps when exploring the area.

Check In went well and then heading to room which had worn out carpet and cracked tiling to the floor in the bathroom area and seemed like the room/bathroom required a refurb in my opinion.
The bedroom furniture in the room needs updating also in the restaurant area the comfy bench seating rquires cleaning due to stains from drinks spilled and also the squeaky floor boards along the corridor to my room.

Location was great just 10 mins drive to Glasgow city centre. A very traditional hotel, with all the amenities you need. The staff were superb, couldn’t do enough for you.
The fan In the bathroom was very noisy but nothing that ruined our stay as it was only when we were using the bathroom.
