This property was exceptionally clean and quiet the bed was sooo comfortable and great water pressure in the shower large towels too wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it Will definitely stay here next time we’re in Invercargill

Everything .they were friendly as and very accommodating.

Very comfortable bed & great shower pressure. Microwave was set to correct time, heater was on when we arrived, very welcoming & helpful hosts. Unit was well away from SH1 just outside, so was very quiet, ample parking. Good sized cups, glasses, plates. Great to have a stool to sit on in the shower.

Because it was an accessible unit very limited storage space in bathroom for all our toiletries (just the vanity top). Had a draining tray but would have been good to have a dish rack as well. Could have done with shower gel dispenser in the shower, & as it was an accessible unit some grab handles in the shower & toilet area.

Room was nice and clean. Bed was very comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay.

There appears to be a condensation issue in the room. There was a portable dehumidifier running (this did not cause us any issues) and they had instructions in the bathroom on how to avoid adding to the humidity when showering (which we dutifully followed). However, in the morning, all windows had a lot of condensation on them. We were not bothered by this, but mentioning it in case others would be

This was our second stay at this property during our 15 day visit to Southland. The units were clean, warm and comfortable, suited our requirements, and, were close to local shopping and dining out facilities, Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Thanks

Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large and clean and the staff were very friendly. Located on a main road with a recreation ground behind but not noisy at all. Nice having somewhere outside to sit on a sunny day.

Nothing about the motel not to like as far as I'm concerned but if you don't have transport you may feel a little too far away from the town centre.

Unfortunately, I cannot join the long list of positive reviews. I booked a studio for three nights at the 554 Moana Court Motel. I thought wow, 9.5 score and the room description read "Garden view", what could go wrong? When I arrived in mid-January 2023, I was given room No 1, the room right at the street front (in the motel picture the one-story annex by the motel sign). When I asked if I could have a room to the back (garden view, not street front !!!), the motel said no, because this is the room they offered on booking.com. After staying for five minutes, I knew I would not be able to sleep in this room, the street noise was too unnerving. After I finally found a new place, I came back to the motel. It was only then they revealed that they had in fact four studios but insisted that room No 1 was assigned to me by booking.com. I have never been assigned a specific room by booking.com, only ever a room category. Why the motel didn’t want to give me another studio (or upgrade me for that matter), I don’t know (I asked nicely). What I did learn though is that room descriptions can’t always be trusted.

Very clean and comfortable unit. Just what we needed on a road trip around the South Island. Excellent value for money.
