El lugar es muy centrico y su personal muy amable.

Que en los dispensadores no estubiera relleno el balsamo ya que al ducharme no lo pude usar por no haber, son cosas mínimas que deben revisar las mucamas antes de dejar lista una habitación para el ingreso a los pasajeros. El ruido traspasa las habitaciones desde los pasillos y una música que nose de que parte del hotel venía, además del ruido de las habitaciones de arriba a nuestro piso.

Everything but the price of breakfast! We were standing there the two of us and asked the price. The waiter said $37 and we said okay and ate. It was delicious! We he brought our ticket it said $74! We were shocked! It was $37 each! Ridiculous! I literally paid $37 for a bowl of cereal, fruit, plantains, and some eggs! My fiancé paid $37 for French toast sticks, coffee, and some plantains! What a ripoff!!!! I probably will not stay again just for this reason.

Price of food. Breakfast is WAY over priced! We ordered room service for dinner and it was good and not as overly priced as breakfast.

The best location in San Jose. Centrally located-- very walkable. Have stayed in three hotels in San Jose. This was by far the best. The room was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. When I return to Costa Rica, I will be staying at the Gran Hotel.

1. I reserved 3 rooms for myself and friends because of my Hilton Honors status. My room was smaller with a view of a building where they had nicer rooms. 2. Had so little kleenex tissue and toilet paper that we ran out. When I talked to two staff about getting more, never came, and was told they had no more tissue, but gave me napkins. Talked to night reservation clerk, she was alone and couldn't help, but did eventually leave me her box of tissue and a toilet roll.

Location, staff, Juan and the entire crew from Tico Travel, (Juan, Larry and Michael Moore) were outstanding. Both tours were as described and excellent.

Beds were hard, food in restaurant/bar was overly expensive! Room was small!

The bed was very comfy and the location was excellent.

It would be great if the hotel has a swimming pool.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff, great breakfast, excellent central location. Quiet.

Tiny window in room doesn't open for fresh air or afford much of a view. Furniture crowds the space. Bathroom doesn't offer adequate privacy unless one doesn't mind sharing visual space when showering or using toilet. Frosted glass isn't enough - there should be a bathroom with a door and a wall that blocks view from the room.

Nice standard but it looks better on pictures than reality.

Very bad service at the restaurant. I ordered some food in the restaurant to my room, after an hour no delivery. I get back to the restaurant asking what is happening- the waiter forgot to make an order. Unbelievable. City center surroundings don’t feel like safe. It is not a good place to go for a walk or do some shopping

Good location if you wanted to be in the middle of the city but there are nicer areas to be.

There is no outside space - terrace for example. There is no pool or wellness suite. Common areas such as the lounge are part of the dining room and bar area so if there is a function, there is nowhere to go.

Die Lage und das Hotel selbst sind super!

Das Personal ist eine einzige Katastrophe! Insbesondere beim Frühstück hatte man das Gefühl, unerwünscht zu sein! Eine Schande für Hilton! Schade um dieses Hotel!

A localização do hotel é muito boa pra quem quer conhecer a área central da cidade.

A serviço de parking foi muito ruim. Nos deixou esperando uma hora, sendo que avisamos no guichê de check-in para pedir o carro. O quarto é muito pequeno pro padrão e custo cobrado. Banheiro e local de banho muito pequenos. Atendentes na café e restaurante sem simpatia. Café da manhã com muitas opções, mas poucos itens de alta qualidade.

In the middle of San Jose and all around isn't a nice view

The hotel was wonderful. The location on Plaza Juan Mora is very central and convenient for restaurants / museums / shopping etc. The breakfast choice was extensive and all the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this as a base in San Jose for a couple of days.

I love the location and the historical look at the building. The room was very comfortable. Big shower, a good gym for a workout and we enjoyed the breakfast very much. It’s located right next to the national theater which was very nice.

The location was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and lovely bar area - piano a nice touch on the first night we arrived

Bedrooms a bit dated; shower did not drain well so while bathroom ended up wet and sheets a bit threadbare .

The hotel was beautifully designed and staff. Absolutely amazing.. the breakfast was brilliant and the view from the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast was wonderful
