Friendly staff , location and stunning lake views

Breakfast was a bit disappointing- food cold heaters seemed to have been switched off and food dried up - hot water for tea not hot either, cornflakes very stale, standard of the food could have been a lot better it was also cleared away before the end of service without informing the guests. Table cloths stained and needed washing. Bed sheets old, holes etc needs new bed linen

Absolutely amazing nature. Garden was nicely maintaining. Staff very friendly.

Situated in a great location, It would be nice if the restaurant had AC.

Staff were extremely nice, the room was really spacious for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). Great location for a day visit to polonnaruwa.

Food selection during the breakfast buffet (on the second morning when the hotel wasn’t very busy). Having said this, we requested some items from the kitchen and they were provided.

As they informed not given discount for card payment..if they informed me earlier I never select this hotel for this much value. Staff given me wrong information. I lost money

This is a nice hotel with beautiful garden and swimming pool but needs some rooms renovations.

Barmen extremely slow and unprofessional. Food at the buffet always cold and too spicy for European taste, sometimes we also suspected no fresh food. Room clean but oldish that need renovation and matelas to change. shower tub too small and not enough pressure at the shower jet. Rooms are not soundproof and you eat neighbourhood or people passing front of your door as they were in your room.

The view is nice, just on the lake.

The level of the hotel is not so good. It looks like a 3 stars hotel, with cleanliness to be improved. Still ok but a bit expensive for what it is.

Overpriced in booking.com, claimed room facilities were not provided in some of the rooms. We booked 7 rooms with all views as they have mentioned in booking.com (Lake view, Garden view, Pool view, Mountain view) but two rooms were given with "staircase" view. (When you open the window you see only the staircase and maintenance area of the hotel.) :(
