The garden is well cared and the natural environment is good. There 2 waterfall routes that can be done from the Lodge. The food is very good. Enjoy African traditional food with a nice nature view.

The road to get there is bumpy. No lights in the garden at night. (not a big deal but will feel better)

Joyce and her son are so welcoming ans always helpful and kind! Joyce is the best cook and always made sure that everything was good for us. Breakfast and Dinner were always perfect! The Lodge is located in the outskirts of Arusha and is therefore a very calm place to relax after safari and other activities. We would definitely come back!

A quiet place outside the city, clean rooms, shower with hot water, and good water flow, the owner of the place, a lovely woman, made sure all the time that everyone was happy. She cooks very delicious local food. It is highly recommended to have dinner at her place at least once

My sister and I stayed at Songota Falls Lodge towards the end of our vacation in Tanzania. We really enjoyed our stayed there. Joyce and her son Raymond welcomed us warmly and helped us organize an interesting coffee tour, a short hike to nearby waterfalls and a day at Chemka Hot Springs. Joyce is an amazing cook! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at her lodge and it was always delicious. She also makes fantastic smoothies. The location of the lodge is great for those who love nature. It's surrounded by vegetation and has beautiful views over the valley and hills that are across.

Tranquil place in the lush forests around Arusha. It was perfect for us, to escape overly busy and dusty Arusha. The lodge is located between lush trees and lots of birds. Nice common grounds. Breakfast was great, unlimited coffee! The staff was really helpful and accommodating, trying to help us out with everything. Rooms are basic, but nice. Personally wouldn't choose it for a longer stay, but it was great for two nights as a base around Arusha!

The Owners are very nice people, In fact I feel like one of the family. They really are doing all the best to make you comfortable. Maybe you find a similar location but you will never find the same good people... Additionally the location is more than wonderful, it's a piece of nature, just a walking minutes from amazing waterfalls, you can feel the fresh air everyday like you never did before, you can see some monkeys jumping around. I had unforgettable experience

Joyce our host and owner of the lodge was omnipresent and super helpful in all matters. She organized everything we needed additionally like taxi, boda boda, hair dresser to get rasta hair at the lodge :) and she cooked herbal tea from the garden when I had stomach pain from eating fruits in the streets. She also cooked fresh meals every evening for us. We loved staying there. Also the view from the hill (when you walk 5 min up out of the hotel) was stunning. You can see Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro if not cloudy. Also the staff was super friendly and warm. We loved staying there.

Internet was down a couple of times.

Joyce is a pretty Lady. She really does the best for their customers. We feel like at home. The bungalows are very nice and the place is very quiet. She cooks also very well and she always asks for us for the choice of the dinner. We are very happy !

Amazing place to stay. We stayed one night after safari before our flight to Zanzibar. Appreciated that Joyce, the owner, came to gave us the key without asking payment, they only asked passports to make copy. Her words “you rest first, then come to pay” makes you feel that this place values you as a human first, then as a client! Joyce homemade delicious dinner and relaxing atmosphere of lodge with beautiful view all we needed after long drive. Room is cute and supper clean, has everything needed for comfortable stay.

Safe place to visit during corona, hygiene was taken seriously at this lodge. You can not match the place when it comes to value for money. Small and hidden GEM 💎 15 min from center with an amazing view and sound of Songota waterfall. Service and host (owner) was professional, but at the same time personal. Food exceeded my expectations, something to look forward to for sure. Support this hidden gem of a lodge in this difficult time. Visit now!

Very accommodating host, Joyce, who took great care of us. Her food was always prepared with the freshest ingredients, and delicious. We will make her pili pili recipe back at home. Raymond was also very accommodating. Drove us to town, and brought us to a coffee plantation. An overall superb experience.
