If you do not like this place, you will not find a place at all. From the arrival in the airport till departure it was all suberb. Great staff, great suite, excellent place to wind down and relax.

Floor material in bathroom wasn’t very much absorbent so we had to wait a long time for the floor to dry

beautiful setting- very peaceful. the staff were incredibly thoughtful and friendly - the little touches that makes you feel well cared for were everywhere from a free cocktail in the afternoon to remembering my wife’s dairy allergy and proactively getting in food she could eat.

there was not a single thing to complain about even just to ourselves.

This is a lovely boutique hotel and even though the location isn’t great, as soon as you step inside you can forget about the “ strip” outside - in fact that’s its beauty , that you are in your own secret escape and it is serenely quiet and blissful! The arrival / the staff / the all day breakfast/ the bikes / the rooms / everything is wonderful and ensures you have a lovely holiday!

just the location but that’s nothing to do with the hotel - on the plus side it’s very near to the airport so getting there/leaving is very easy.

I had high expectations of Lani's due to previous reviews but can safely say they were totally exceeded! This place is a gorgeous oasis in the middle of Playa del Carmen. Stunning design with great use of the relatively limited space they have. Our suite was beautiful and had a real 'wow' factor every time we walked into it! The views are stunning and the lovely small black sand beach below the hotel is perfect for swimming at low tide. What really makes this place though are the staff. Every person we encountered was superb and all genuinely seemed to enjoy working there. From reception to housekeeping to the restaurant and pool staff - all faultless. Yes, it's more expensive than most other places in the area but you get what you pay for! Treat yourself to a stay here - you won't regret it!
