I loved everything about this place! This is the best place I've stayed in on my 6 months trip! It was so hard to leave. The view from the swimming pool on the top was breathtaking.

Location wise it’s in the hills and mountains and that was exactly the vibe I was after. It’s beautiful views really take you back. The staff were helpful in organising transportation in and around town too.

Lacked kitchen utensils, needed a tea towel when you finished washing up and a toaster would have been ideal especially when you’re self catering.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kiri Tawan resort in Koh Phangan, and I must say that my experience surpassed all my expectations. The resort is located in a strategic area, close to both the north and south beaches of the island "almost in the middle", making it convenient to explore all parts of Koh Phangan. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning infinity pool at the top of the mountain, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the island. It was the ultimate spot to relax and unwind while soaking up the sun and enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Very tranquil setting surrounded by jungle. Amazing view from the mountain top pool, my favorite spot at the resort! Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Communicate well, great service! The doggie visiting from time to time is adorable!

Unfortunately there are some parties around, esp Waterfall party, playing disturbing techno from 8pm till sunrise or longer every Friday night. Really tough to sleep and remain calm.

The hotel staff is very kind and helpful, lovely dogs and views. This is quiet place, it has a nice waterpool with a beautiful view. Highly recommended

I recently stayed at the Kiri Tawan hotel on Koh Phangan, and I have to say, I was delighted with my experience. This family-owned business provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a jungle oasis away from the main areas of the island. This was my third time staying at the hotel in the past four years, and I keep coming back because I love it. The surroundings of Kiri Tawan hotel are peaceful and nice. The lush greenery and tropical plants create a tranquil and serene environment that is perfect for anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The quiet and peaceful setting is exactly what I needed to unwind and recharge. The wifi is stable and fast, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for my stay. Especially because I had to be on the laptop for some time it's nice to have a proper desk or the sweet terrace. The staff was always friendly and accommodating, which made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Overall, I highly recommend the Kiri Tawan hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil experience on Koh Phangan. This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a break from the crowds and noise of the island's main areas. I can't wait to come back and stay at the Kiri Tawan hotel again in the future. I recommend having a motorbike to get around and be flexible.

Clean. Excellent WiFi coverage and speed. Great location in a jungle setting, you can hear howler monkeys some days (do need a moped though). Jay and family are amazing hosts with great English and understanding of your needs. Room has fridge, desk, kettle. Lovely porch to lounge about on. A walk up to the infinity pool every day was a must for me, good view over to the national Marine park on a clear day.

The room could really do with a full length mirror, but that's all in 3 weeks of being there.

We were 2 friends working remotely from this property. The wifi connection was really great and the owners vere extremely nice and helpful with some aditional requests we had. The property is situated a bit in the jungle and gives a whole zen vibe! There is even pool you can use, you have to climb 200stairs up hill which is a little fitness, however the view is amazing! We enjoyed our staying!

Large clean room and bathroom. Friendly hosts and a beautiful “infinity” type pool at the top of the complex.

Because the property is a bit isolated from any shops or cafes, a water fountain would be really handy for guests staying as we found it a pain when we ran out of drinking water. It would be great to have sun loungers around the pool.

This property doesn’t look anything like the pictures advertised. Firstly, don’t expect a proper bed ‘as advertised’ you’ll be sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Unfortunately, insects found there way onto the mattress which made it difficult for me to sleep. Moreover, the duvet cover provided did not come with a cover and appeared to have a yellow looking stain on it. As the homeowner was initially pleasant and polite, I didn’t raise any concerns. The property is in the middle of no where so do not book if you don’t want to hire a bike as there are no shops within walking distance. Unfortunately, I had an accident and was drove off the road by another driver which resulted in my injuring my arm and going to hospital. Unfortunately, I had got blood onto the unprotected quilt and a towel which is inevitable after being in an accident. Whilst checking out, the homeowner identified some blood on the sheet/ towel. She then started shouting in thai language and was incredibly hostile. She lacked understanding, compassion, and empathy. Moreover, we couldn’t communicate effectively as she SPEAKS NO ENGLISH. Alongside, enduring the pain with my arm and trying to process the crash I had to manage being treated like I am a criminal The property demanded I paid an extortionate amount for some blood on the sheets which blew my mind. As the homeowner cannot speak English at all, we were unable to discuss this between ourselves effectively thus a relative was contacted to come over. The relative didn’t understand my frustration and he struggled to agree with my situation. A cash deposit for damages was not taken or specified online. I never believed that I would be liable to pay for some blood on an unprotected duvet. He then slapped me round the face and said “this is Thailand bro”. I was devastated. I have been travelling Thailand alone for three months and this is the worst experience I have ever had. FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY, PLEASE AVOID THIS PROPERTY!
