Really cool right on the beach, great room and great breakfast. Really helpful staff who were super nice

Couldn’t be helped but there was a lot of construction going on outside the property which slightly ruined the vibe when going out in the evening etc.

Staff was very nice and helpful; they helped us organize a canoe tour and gave us a lot of advice on places to eat and things to do. The whole garden is beautiful and full of nice hammocks and benches to hang. Room was very spacious, and air conditioning was working perfectly. I also liked that there was an outdoor shower and a rack for hanging towels. It is a convenient 10 mins walk from the train station and a 30 mins work from town.

We arrived shortly before check-in time and our room was not ready. That was totally fine by us, but we asked if we could stay on the property grounds (they have a beautiful garden with plenty hammocks, and it was low season..) and they said no, that we had to come back later. We were very tired and also a bit sick, and it was incredibly how, so asked again politely, and made it clear that we just wanted to sit in the garden and did not need the room, but they were unmoved. I am sorry to say I really did not like that and did not understand why we couldn't just hang out there? We ended up just sitting at the beach in front of the property (there's nothing really right around it). I'll say aside from this incident, staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was abundant but set, no choices were offered besides coffee or milk. The garden was beautiful but sadly we couldn't enjoy it as the mosquitos were probably the most aggressive I encountered during my India trip (they were pretty bad almost everywhere for me thought). The location is right by the beach but there's little around it, so for dinner you'll want to always get a tuck-tuck to town and back. Walking is fine but it can become long and there's almost none around after dark (it felt perfectly safe during the day).

in one word - the host Daniela was so warm and hospitable. Always smiling and took so much care of my mother and me. I had the most memorable trip. amazing location on the beach beautiful sunset - breathtakingly beautiful lovely personalised breakfast ! glad to meet Amy !

Property beach garden is excellent ! the approach road is currently under construction

This property is a quiet little paradise right by the beach in lovely gardens. Rooms with breezy verandahs have been tastefully built in the local style. Wifi is generally OK. The owner and staff are kind and attentive with good suggestions for things to do, all easily accessible by auto rickshaw, often serviced by trusted known drivers. Station is close by. Breakfast and afternoon coffee included.

There is no restaurant on site so lunch and dinner have to be found in the town or quite a long walk away, opposite the main beach. A new motorway is currently under construction nearby so it’s not a very pleasant or scenic walk either.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay and many unforgettable moments at Alleppey Beach Garden. Daniela & Jackson welcomed us in the beautiful accommodation, were helpful at all times and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable! Thank you!

Such a lovely guest house and hosts. You are well looked after here and the hospitality is outstanding. Rooms are beautifully decorated with high standard furnishings and incredibly clean. The beach is so close and perfect for a morning swim. The breakfast is also really yummy! Daniela, Raji and Jackson are very welcoming, helpful and friendly hosts.

It's a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurant. Short tuk tuk ride for rs70.

The place is quiet directly lying on the beach. You get wonderful continental or Indian breakfast. Rooms are large and very well sustained (new building). A nice garden surrounding the appartments with shadow and hammock. The lodger is introducing an authentic backwatertour with contact to local families.
