L’accueil et les conseils, la maison magnifique, l’emplacement au calme près des backwaters. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Great property to have a home stay experience in Alleppey. The territory of the property (garden) is very beautiful. Its also very peaceful there. The room had great bed, AC and a fan- very comfortable! Would stay there again.

The breakfast had only 2 continental options- toast with butter and jam, and omelet. I would suggest adding something else (muesli for example)

Hospitality was excellent. To add more, the lush green fields around was a delight to the eyes.

The locality is slightly far from the city centre making it difficult to access public transportation.

It was a superb experience. The room was clean, the decor was very unique and was a heritage place. The host was very friendly and caring. The food and hospitality was great. We were greeted with a warmth and food was served fresh and authentic cuisine.

The property itself was unique because of its authenticity of being 163 years old. The owner of the property and their family made it feel like home there. The morning authentic home made breakfast they provided was really very tasty. To be honest, I stayed in 5star and very good hotels. But this stay was the most pleasent and pleasing and the best of all . No one would want to miss such pleasent stay. Absolutely loved every bit of it❤️

The surroundings of the homestay is beautiful and scenic. It is worthwhile to spend some time in the backyard of this homestay to feel the nature. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were comfortable.

It’s definitely a heritage home, the wooden architecture is absolutely stunning! The area is really windy and really peaceful to just sit back and relax to the sound of the trees moving and birds chirping. Truly a hidden gem. Host/Manager was kind enough to order a tuktuk/ auto for us to go into town and book massages and boat rides for us. The massage was really good, so definitely go with the hosts’ recommendation! We booked the King Suite which came with a balcony/veranda which had a swing, really nice touch to the unit but also has a couple of hammocks if you’d like a change as well or if your unit doesn’t come with a swing. Not having seen antique lamps or switches or even door locks for so long, this was something my partner and I loved, besides the ultimate privacy.

When I say hidden gem, it definitely is absolutely hidden. Not a single auto/tuktuk driver that we got from the city knew of this place and we had to guide them right to the doorstep. Getting an Uber driver is close to impossible because it’s not within Uber radar, so we couldn’t really book an Uber to go out or even to our next destination. You’ll need to either rely on the host to get you an auto or you could stand at the entrance and wait for bit for an auto driver to pass by(we did once, but was a 10minutes wait). No way you’d be able to walk to the city or nearest restaurant as it’s all really far away and the roads are quite dark at night, so you do need to make sure you have transportation secured. Besides that, you can’t quite sit out on the veranda pass sunset as there’ll be quite a lot of mosquitoes or light bugs after you turn the lights on, so if you intend to sit outside for long, it’ll need to be when the sun is still up. The breakfast isn’t a huge spread, but the host is extremely kind to prepare what we would want to have, and it definitely felt like home cooked food that we missed having!

This place is very gorgeous. The garden is such a perfect place to relax in the hammock with views across the field. Incredibly peaceful. The room itself was quite small considering the price but was clean & tidy & offers a kettle. Breakfast was delicious & the staff were very kind & helpful whenever they could be.

It is a little out of town so you will have to get a tuktuk otherwise it's a dark walk home..! But if you like the peace & quiet to be out the noise of Allepey then this is absolutely perfect!

everything was perfect. very close to Alleppey but in a quiet place, surrounded by nice scenic views in country side. the owner is very nice, and everybody at the home is nice and sweet. easy to reach the city, with tuk tuk they can call for you. super easy and nice. thank you

Beautiful room with nice outdoor sitting area in an ancient wooden House. Fridge in the room. Nice freshly prepared breakfast in a lovely place. Very helpful and welcoming staff.

Wi-fi is teribbly slow it's 2G(!!!???) Room was not cleaned and The words of the staff(older guy) are not trustworthy

Had a lovely 2 night stay. The host was helpful and gave advice if needed. The building was lovely and very well cared for.

It was difficult to get used to the very dark room. Would suggest requesting a room facing the garden.
