Bardzo fajny rodzinny nocleg w Ella. Kameralnie, czysto, przytulnie, blisko zarówno do centrum, jak i do Little Adam's Peak. Pokój wygląda na świeżo wykończony. Łazienka z ciepłą wodą i prysznicem, wygodne łóżka, a do tego własny tarasik przed pokojem, z fotelami i hamakiem. Mili, przyjaźni gospodarze - czasem odwiedzał nas ich przemiły pies :)

Jedyną wadą jest bliskość uliczki (10 metrów w prostej linii od łóżka), która nie jest zbyt ruchliwa, ale czasem nocą jeżdżą nią tuk tuki, a to z pewnością Cię obudzi.

We simply loved staying at Dhanuska’s place. It was recommended to us by a friend and it delivered in every respect. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom excellent, and the outdoor seating area, complete with hammock was delightful. Location is great, near enough to centre, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees, so that you hear nothing but birdsong. Best breakfasts we’ve had so far; lots of fruit, beautiful smoothie, great hoppers, plus toast and jam if you can manage more. Dhanuska, his wife Nimli and their two lovely kids are a delightful family who did everything they could to make our stay in Ella memorable. They gave us lots of useful tips and Dhanuska helped us to get train tickets for our onward journey. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay in the cottage at this homestay and would thoroughly recommend it. It was comfortable, clean and had a great shower room and lovely private terrace. Dhanush and Nilmini were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were really good and it’s a great location for walking 10mins into the main town for restaurants etc.

There was really nothing we didn't like about our three night stay here.

Super value for money. The room is nice and clean and the breakfast is amazing - local dishes and home made. We really enjoyed it. The place is a 15 min walk / 5 min tuk tuk ride from the station and it’s within walking distance from Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge

Comfortable amazing little cottage, lovely craftef bathroom and a comfortable bed and a nice small private terrace. Lovely breakfast on the big terrace. They were very helpful with recommandations and provided us with packaged breakfast for our early depature. Full recommendation.

Room is tidy and clean. 15 mins walking to 9 arch bridge, and 3 mins to main road. Owner is helpful to arrange tuktuk and car to colombo. Breakfast is perfect. Room is for couple, i guess. Romance decor.

Habitación muy cómoda, sencilla pero bien equipada. Personal muy amable, nos ayudó mucho en dudas sobre cómo continuar nuestro viaje. Algo más alejado de la zona de restaurantes (10 min andando), pero lo vemos como positivo porque el sitio era mucho más tranquilo y alejado de ruidos.

What a great little place, if you want to experience Sri Lanka hospitality what better way than staying with a local family. The room had its own shower and balcony and were clean, the family very friendly and helpful would definitely stay again and very close to Ella shops and restaurants. Great find

An awesome little Homestay with a beautiful family. Super comfortable, super clean with an incredible host family who did everything they could to improve our experience. Meeting Rocky the dog was a bonus! Brilliant breakfasts as well. Look forward to come back in the near future.

La plus grosse arnaque du Sri Lanka! Les photos ne sont pas du tout celles de l'hotel! Rien ne correspond!!!!! Les chambres sont petites, d'une humidité incroyable et avec l'odeur atroce d'humidité qui va avec! Casiment impossible de dormir! Il n'y a aucune vue depuis la chambre contrairement aux photos!!!!! Petit déjeuner servi soit disant sur la terrasse! Il 'agit en fait d'un toit délabré qui ne demande qu'à s'écrouler, avec des tables recouverte d'un tissu très sale et troué!!!!! Il est inadmissible que Booking puisse mettre ce type d'établissement sur leur site. Messieurs de Booking allez un peu vérifier les infos que vous mettez sur votre site!!!!!!! Une horreur!!!!!!

Zentral, ruhig, sauber, schönes Bad! Leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück auf einer Dachterasse. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich, er hat uns zum Bahnhof gefahren und geholfen mit den Zugtickets. Wir hatten einen Crash mit unserem TukTuk der andere (local) ist einfach abgehauen, auch hier hat der Besitzer mit der Polizei telefoniert und uns beigestanden. 100% Empfehlung!

Very convenient location - near to the crowd but not in the middle of it. Owners are very kind and great hosts. She served us an amazing breakfast and was very flexible with the timing. Same with the check in and check out!

Gorgeous! I stayed in the cottage and it was beautiful. The breakfasts were amazing, the location was perfect. An easy walk to town and to little Adam’s peak. The family were so helpful and Kind.

We had a great stay at Mc Queen homestay, it is in a great location, close to the main centre of Ella but far away enough that it wasn't bothersome. Great local vibe and atmosphere but also neat basic rooms. The highlight of our stay was the contact with the owner and his family, he gave us amazing tips on what to do and where to go. He organized our trip to the “blue water pond” or the Nildiya Pokuna, and we had a great lunch with a local family also organized by the owner. Overall a great stay but the owner made it fantastic!

The rooms were not too big (but we were a large family of four, 2 teenagers) so sometimes it was a little small

Very lovely house and very helpful and friendly owner. The room was very clean and spacious, located only 10 minutes by foot from Ella center and 15 minutes from Nine arch bridge.

Danush (owner).was very helpful and setup everything we needed. Even safari tickets. Accomodation is 10min walk from center and in quiet area. We can only recommend! And fresh bananas or avocado from his garden is also something special.

Mc Queen was a real homestay experience! The small property is run by a Sri Lankan family who are more than kind and helpful (they were always for us to help or advise), they searched for us taxi to our next stop for good money and allowed us to check out late in the evening. The Asian breakfast was also really tasty!

I appreciate the kettle in the room, it would be even better if there is some tea or coffee as well. In the room there were ants which I think is quite normal considering the location but maybe there is a way to do something with. Apart from this it was an amazing stay and very much recommended !

it’s like a tiny house modern house made with natural woods. confortable, very close to the center. the breakfast is one and of the best breakfast I had so far in Sri Lanka. the owner is extremely nice and help you if need anything. we adore it.

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was nice and clean, with nice terrace, with beautiful plants and hammock to chill and rest. The host Dhanush was so kind and helpful, he helped us arrange everything that we needed, he even booked a train ticket for us and also took us over to the railway station. We enjoyed delicious breakfast which was prepared by his wife. Such a kind and lovely family.
