The staff was super friendly, we rented a car and we could easily park in the street. Bathrooms were very clean. Easy to explore the region and they help with organizing activities

Great location, walking distance to all points of interests including restaurants. Beautiful set up overlooking the town. Staff were excellent with a lot of advice, kind and happy to help with everything. Breakfast was excellent. Great music and activities set up.

The staff were super friendly and what an awesome location! Had a great sleep listening to the outdoors and met some nice people as well. They organise nice events like salsa dancing! If you stay in San Gil I would definitely recommend it.

I booked the Chalet, and it is absolutely fantastic. The view over the village, the bed, the layout, the bathroom, everything is fantastic. Personnel is super helpful and fun to hang around with. Definitely a fun hostel without too much hassle but also not too much party.

The staff is the best, good breakfast, nice beds and a beautiful location!

From 10 p.m. the lights went off in the hostel and you had to be silent, this was a bit too early in my opinion.

Staff, quiet place, and ample space for sitting and enjoying the views, enough Adventure choices, breakfast, hot showers, swimming pool, hammocks, and location.

Security of items stored in lockers: there were thefts during my stay. Passport, money, credit cards and camera. Personally: someone stolen cash from my wallet that was kept inside a napsack. Security camera was not working, It was easy for a thief to stay until 3 am, break locks and steal and leave at these hours without any person being alerted to the action.

The staff was amazing (Viviana! <3) and the place was really better then I expected. I stayed a week and regret not staying longer to, next to all the activities, also have time to decompress and relax, because it’s a great place for that too! You can make it as calm and as social as you want and I really appreciate that. I could really vibe with the music they were playing, and they also had a really fair quiet-hour to respect the desire of those who want to sleep early.

The hygiene in the bathroom could have been better, however they cleaned enough! I think there was just a minor surely temporary insect problem that came from the pit of the bathroom.

There is plenty of space, they have comfortable social areas, and the rooftop/pool area is beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful/accommodating and will help you organize tours. The breakfast was also delicious. It was perfect for what we needed and would absolutely stay here again.

They could be a little bit more clear about approximate wait times for breakfast orders (it’s delicious, but one morning took over 1.5 hours to be ready) There was also no hot or warm water for showers (not a problem at all for us, but just something to note)

Best hostel we've stayed in so far in South America. The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful with organising daily activities. The atmosphere in the hostel is also great for meeting other travellers. The pool is a great feature after a day of activities and location is perfect in the town. The breakfast options are also very good. Would highly recommend staying here for other travellers.

Staff is very friendly, great location in the center of San Gil. Amenities are great, good wifi connection - there is a coworking where you can work from. Swimming pool is small but great for cooling off and relax.

No hot shower in the double room.

The staff at this hostel were great and we booked our white water rafting through the hostel, which was super easy and all the staff were so helpful. The room was super clean with a beautiful view of San gil. The communal areas were great and were a great place to meet other people, especially as the hostel organises group activities. Pool area was great too.

The shower didn't get warm and it would be great if there were hooks in the bedroom for hanging coats but apart from that it was great.

The pool, the hammocks, the games area, the upstairs eating area were all superb. Friendly staff. Very good location not far from the town square and local bus station.

The lockers aren't very big. Enough to fit valuables and laptops, but not big enough for a big rucksack. That said the place was safe anyway. No issues.

It was our first time in Colombia, so the first time in San Gil. Traveler Hostel set the bar high! We loved it there! It has such a nice vibe, beautiful garden, good relaxing spots and you can watch over the city. The hosts Wilbor and Viviana were both super helpful and nice!! They organize special evenings and all the tours you can do it San Gil. We really enjoyed our 5 day stay.

The private rooms with own bathroom don't have a warm shower. The shared bathrooms do.

Because we stayed in a tent not the most sound proof. This is expected, but noises like cockerels woke us early.
