Nos hicieron un upgrade a Villa Marina, un apartamento situado en la colina que domina Red Hook. Las vistas son soberbias; buen equipamiento, piscina “cuasi-privada”. Buena atención del dueño en el paso de la tormenta tropical Ernesto y posteriores consecuencias (leves). Recomendable

La contrapartida a las buenas vistas es subir arriba. Es necesario coche (lo teníamos). El único “pero” era la extraña dependencia de generadores eléctricos para tener agua corriente dentro de casa. Tras la tormenta hubo que usar generador y andar cambiando bombonas de gas (pero el duelo, Steve, se encargó de ello)

The villa was large and right off the beach. The location was great. Sapphire beach was beautiful and it was so close to red hook for nightly activities. The villa looked exactly like the pictures.

The bathroom for master bedroom needs the shower curtain fixed it. Also that bathroom needs the towel holder fixed. But other than that everything was great.

kitchen , utensils, clean bathrooms, spacious for 4 people , beach towels, board games, close to beach, nice location.

water in the shower was not that hot. we visited in December though. maybe in hot summers, it would be fine.

The property had ample secure parking, on site restaurant options, and great beach access. The condo was well lit and comfortable. The hosts were great communicators right up until we were in the unit and had an issue.

Unfortunately on the first night when my son went to lay down in his bed we discovered that his comforter had blood splatter / stains on it in multiple locations. I immediately contacted the host and was told the bloody comforter would be picked up the next day and replaced. That never happened, so for the entire week we lived with a bloody comforter on the floor of the living room just hoping someone would finally come take it away. This didn’t exactly inspire confidence in the “extra cleaning” they advertise.

No portable speaker. No music or live DJ on beach.

It's a beautiful place! Very warm and cozy. It's right on the sapphire beach and close to a lot of restaurants/grocery stores.

Everything about this property I absolutely loved!
