Cleanliness of rooms, pillows were uncomfortable & shower water pressure was pretty much non existent.

The view from the room balcony is very nice. I went out with my friends and booked two twin rooms. We were given adjacent rooms, which was really thoughtful. I have to say that the room my other two friends stayed in was larger and looked better. I don't know why there is such a big gap. They were of the same room type. And don’t worry if i forget to bring my toothbrush and toothpaste or everything because there are Coles, Kmart and some places to eat nearby.

The bottom of the swimming pool is not clean and there are ducks swimming on it. The spa is small and the water is very turbid. The room I stayed in was a room with two single beds. The position of the bed in the room was very strange. The bed lamp was above the bed board. If you wanted to sit on the bed and read a book against the bed board, it was impossible because your head would hit on the lamp. The wardrobe door is a full mirror facing the bed. The shower head is fixed to the wall. Wifi is slow. If you want to have a good view of dining at the hotel, remember to make a reservation in advance.

Location

Housekeeping/cleaning needs attention. We only had one wine glass and cups are tiny - both rectified when we asked. Unit was not clean - hair on bathroom floor, mirror over coffee station is dirty and cobwebs outside. Rooms are not serviced/cleaned properly during stay and soap, etc are tiny and not replaced daily. Front doors to each unit need some TLC and painting.

The room was a swim out room which was lovely and comfortable, it felt like you were at a resort in Fiji or the like. The room was nicer than I expected and bed was very comfortable. The spa was a highlight too. Parking was easy and accessible. The resort is out of town a little, but close to a shopping centre and only a 5-10 minute drive to the cafes and various beaches and heaps of activities nearby (Camel rides, horse riding etc).

I was disappointed by two things: - I was told I would be charged on arrival, and then charged a week or two beforehand. - the pool water was really cold and needs to be a few degrees warmer. We planned to spend most of one of our days around the pool, but I couldn't even get my toes in it was so cold. We tried to get into both spas all day, but they were completely full each time we tried (i suspect because people realised how cold the pool water was). We eventually were able to get into the spa at night and it was lovely.

Although it was not the fault of the resort itself, we had a family in the apartment above us who were VERY noisy! We didn't mention it initially as we thought perhaps the noise was from the excitement of being on holidays, however the screaming and running/jumping in the apartment did not stop. We actually had to go out to get some peace and quiet. On the second day, we did mention it to reception, sadly as the resort was fully booked the reception staff were unable to move us, however they were very friendly.

Easy to get to, always clean, private room and nostalgic to my childhood. This place never lets me down. I will be staying here for all of my work trips required overnight.

My employees have been staying on and off at your hotel over the last few months and we have spent a lot of money with you. On this particular stay your staff member spoke rudely to my employee. He didn’t believe he was meant to be staying so he called our secretary and when he didn’t get the answer he wanted he hung up in her face continuously ignoring and being rude to my employee! We had all confirmation details available for him to double check so there was no reason yo doubt my employee.

Received an extremely warm welcome from reception on arrival, the helpful staff happily discussed local restaurant options and activities with us. Our room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed, the lagoon pool setting a few steps from the room made us feel like we were million miles away. Very much enjoyed use of the pool, spa and tennis court facilities!

Rooms was nice & cozy. It was clean and tidy. Kitchen was decent and equipped. Location is good and so does the staff. The restaurant has less options but still we enjoyed our dinner there. Jacuzzi is the best part of this property

The whole idea of this place is to enjoy the big swimming pool for which you happily pay extra $$$. But the moment its gets a bit cold the whole swimming area becomes useless and this where you feel its not value for money. Not sure how Oaks team can handle it.

bathroom and kitchen were a little dirty when we entered so we spent 10 minutes wiping everything down for our use. besides spot cleaning every room after tenants vacate I would suggest that they roster things to do on a once a month basis if they don’t already… for example pull out the fridge and clean behind and beside it (there are cobwebs and insects there) and dust the blinds, deep clean the bathroom and kitchen. this isn’t a complaint , more like a suggestion as I didn’t really have a problem with it but I’m sure those who are more picky than I will.
