la posizione, la vista dalla camera, il ristorante marocchino!

The staff, especially Frida was so kind and friendly. I loved how vintage and antique the hotel was decorated. The room was spacious enough for 2 people. The breakfast buffet was small but the items were of great quality!
The sinks could be a touch bigger or deeper.
4.3
The place and service was very good.
The Moroccan restaurant was super tasty 😋
The hotel is definitely a bang for your buck.
P.s. going in December is definitely a low season so some services might not be available. But that's no problem. Being alone at a hotel is amazing.
Will definitely come again
4.3
Absolutely charming hotel with cozy reading rooms. Included use of hotel bikes and small hot tub. Good value.
4.3
Our double room was quiet and a good size with 2 chairs, little table and a desk. Loved the eclectic style. Very comfortable. Tea and coffee available in the dining room. A great hotpot which we didn't get time to use. Very helpful staff.
It wasn't a problem for us but we were on the second floor and there is no lift.
4.3
Nice room , good size bathroom, good common lounge, hot tub outside.
Breakfast was a bit on che cheap side , e.g.: only one coffee jug that needed frequent refilling clearly not in relation with the number of guests from the hotel, no expresso machine, limited bread choice
4.3
The bathroom, very comfortable. Shower was great. Breakfast with very fresh local products. Friendly staff!
4.3
Very artsy and well decorated in an old style. Surprise was the hot tub.
Breakfast. Towels for the hot tub. Might be nice to have some outside on clear days.
4.3
Rooms are cozy
At breakfast the waiter had not the care to replenish ran-out foods
4.3
Cozy little place.
The moroccan food in their restaurant was amazing.
We booked a room with private bathroom.
However, this was just a partition of acid washed glass in the already tiny room.
Nevertheless, this was ok for a one night stay.

Stayed there for one night — we liked it A LOT!
- Amazing common spaces with tea and coffee
- Hot tub on the street
- Nice design and cozy rooms (most of the with a view)
- Breakfast not bad (typical for Iceland, not the European one)
It was fine!
Take into the account that restaurant is closed on Monday, so we didn’t have a chance to eat there :(

nice stylish and comfortable Guesthouse with a comfortable common area!
electric kettle in the room would be Great

Decorations/designs of the hotel and room are unique. Room is huge and comfortable. Good view of the streets and town. Location is near to restaurants and a nice bakery. Most restaurants are closed in November, Siglunes offer dining services but will need to pre-reserve.
Staff is friendly and provide good recommendations.
Parking spots are right beside the hotel.

lovely local art, great food
roofers putting new roof up: noisy

Really nice double-aspect room with view of the hills and a bit of the fjord. Interesting boutique hotel in the heart of a really interesting fishing town. Free parking too. The town has a great museum covering the age of herring fishing - worth a visit.
Hotel didn't have breakfast available, but there was a bakery around the corner. There is also a really good cafe on the harbour front, although I am not sure what time that opens
4.3
Very charming and cosy room, with an amazing private bathroom. The staff were really nice.
Beware of your windows because everyone in the street could see us, so we had to close the ''curtains'' all the time we spent in the room.

super friendly staff, there were bikes available to use for free and a nice hot tub!

I've been to Siglufjordur a few times and I've previously stayed at Siglo Hotel and I've camped in town. Both are fantastic experiences and I've been waiting to stay at Siglunes Hotel. The town is small, so anything is well located, but for me, I prefer the location of Siglunes than Siglo Hotel. Downstairs, the lobby has several sitting rooms that are cozy and well equipped for working or reading. I appreciated all the books available, as well as coffee available throughout the day. There is also a hot tub, but I didn't get a chance to try it during my stay.
As for the rooms, I stayed in a double so for me (solo traveler) it was very spacious. It has a small seating area, a desk, a very comfortable bed and a nice view of town. I think it would be enough space for two people as well. As I traveling alone, the bathroom didn't bother me, but it would be a concern if I was. There is no privacy between the room and bathroom - in fact the toilet is visible from the bed.
As a few other reviews have mentioned, it appears to be understaffed. So when the staff are onsite (they are quite absent), they seem a bit overworked and a bit distant, and therefore less hospitable then you might except. I gave them all the benefit of the doubt most of the time. But on the day of check-out, a staff member knocked on my door at 10:30am (check-out was at 11am) to ask when I was leaving. He seemed put off when I told him at the check-out time, and I was taken back he asked at all before check-out time.
Outside of that, the breakfast food is expensive and I'd suggest going to the local bakery instead. Everyone raved about the Moroccan restaurant onsite, which I tried (the vegetarian dish), but unfortunately did not like it. The restaurant staff noticed and didn't charge me for the meal, which I appreciated.

the water. the dinner by their Moraccan credit was
excellent.

Large room with wonderful design.
Very comfortable, clean and spacey.
Good breakfast.
there is no electric kettle in the room, which is very basic
4.3
Beautiful hotel and cosy rooms. Fantastic redtaurant and the staff were great.
The shared bathroom wasn’t great, expected nicer facilities for the price range.

plenty big for iceland standard for 3 adults. Very pleasant staff.

The location was great and interior of the hotel was very pretty. The food in the restaurant is amazing, the staff was friendly despite the high workload that they were under.
Unfortunately the hotel and restaurant seemed very understaffed. The hotel staff had to also wait tables in the restaurant and was understandably very stressed. We waited more than 15 minutes to be showed our table even though we had a reservation.
In the bathrooms in the lobby there was no toilet paper at any point during our stay.
It was impossible to close the doors to the room quietly which must have been annoying to the people in other rooms.
