The place is very beautiful and cosy. Except for one of their bed.
their speed point wasn't working we waited for more than 40 minutes. But they apologized and gave us an extra hour to check out.

Everything was exceptional, from finding the location to the entrance, the reception and to finally going to out designated room. The staff showed around the rooms and explained the rules really well. I would go back there with my family anytime any day.
The stove was not working until we had to grill meet but Stimela was exceptional 10/10 service from him 🙏 as he made a plan for us to grill at another room so we happy and enjoy the rest of the stay.

The owners " Don't care / Unbothered attitude. Had power cuts every day multiple times per day for prologued period. Almost 24hrs one day. YES there are load shredding happening in South Africa which is understandable however the property has a GENERATOR that's suppose to be utilise during said time however the owner according to the stubborn unhelpful security / caretaker prefer to save a few bucks then provide promised comfort to their tenant! We spend Sunday last without any power all day. When we tried to ask for help we was met with just careless attitude from management. When i ask for a refund and to check out since i had a few days left i was told that "Lucie" the owner, doesn't care i can leave, but no refund will be given. So we had to endure the day without any power wifi or connection to our family since our phones were dead. Good place but bad management. Had to complain to Booking.com for help ..Not worth the money i paid. 1 out 10 . Stay clear

Only a aircon in the lounge area which wasnt working properly, one fan in one room upstairs, no other cooling systemso we had to leave windows open and my baby ended up with 16 mosquito bites in one night,, no generator whilst loadshedding even after asking numerous times to switch it on as I have kids and also we had a wedding to attend and they provided one very flat rechargeable light for a 4 bedroom apartment
Upon check in at 11.30pm as we traveled from far the security insisted on doing a check of the apartment and it was very inconvenient and uncomfortable
He also made us wait around 30mins outside with 4 exhausted kids while he settled payment and paperwork instead of allowing us in to settle our kids

Air conditioning units in the bedrooms were very noisy, disturbing our sleep. The one in lounge didn’t adequately cool the room.
Outdoor furniture needs replacing. Kitchen counter down light bulb not working even though we asked for it to be replaced

The villa is beautifully designed and furnished. It’s nice and spacious.
Absence of facilities manager just to ensure everything is working fine. To expect the guard to man the gate, respond to guest needs, check guests in & out etc. is not efficient. To have only 1 set of keys for a 4 bed villa with 8 people is not practical. Just because the 8 people are a group doesn’t mean they are always together.
Whilst the Villa has a gas stove, there’s no lighter or match provided when there’s loadshedding. The villa also lacked just some basics required for self catering e.g 2 pin plugs / adapters in the bedrooms to charge phones / computers, no trays, place mats for the table or tablecloth, no milk jug, no microwave lids. These are areas for improvement that would make the property get better ratings.

false advertising, we booked the villa that say’s private pool, there is no private pool. pool is communal for all guests.
staff are not easily available, with a stinky overall attitude which is clearly due to fear of the employer.

The receptionist was very rude and abrupt. Both on the phone and in person. She had very poor customer service. She didn't know how to communicate with customers. I initially rang her prior to arrival looking for an additional room and she made me feel like I rang a wrong place. Only to realise upon double checking that l actually rang the right place.We were going to be arriving earlier than booked but instead of saying they were booked out she rudely said they didn't have apartments "here," they only had rooms.
The manager and both security guards were pleasant, professional and helpful. Not this lady called Primrose at reception. She needs lots of training in professionalism and customer service. We had stayed here in 2018 and the lady at reception then was very professional.Thats why we rebooked. Not again! We couldn't wait to leave. The place itself is beautiful and all the other staff are good. But this lady is just downright rude and very unprofessional.
When we booked, the website stated there was a dishwasher, cleaning detergents, fridge etc. Only to realise upon arrival the fridge was not working. There was no dishwasher. There were no initial cleaning detergents provided. The fridge was repaired after complaining on check in. The dishwasher we were told is only for customers who book 3 bedrooms and more! Despite advertising that they had a dishwasher on the booking site! False advertising and downright unethical. We were not told about the loadshedding schedule until we raised with the manager who eventually printed it out. Apparently there is a generator but it's up to the manager's discretion when it's turned on during blackouts. So expect some hours of no electricity and going to the bathroom in darkness at night.
We found really hard to adjust having just checked out from facilities that automatically used the generator during load shedding. This felt like a cheap highway motel experience.
There is a gas stove but you need to buy your own lighter. It's not provided , you have to ask reception and they will send someone to light for you without leaving the lighter behind.
One day we received a call advising us some people will be coming to view the apartment. When we refused for security reasons this same Primrose behaved as if we were being unreasonable.
My husband lost his Sir Raymond Tee shirt. We reported to the security but of course we never got it back.
