Onsen with a view of Mt Fuji, nice Yukata for all guests

- the plate in dining room is not clean enough, still have a mark on them * every single of them!!!! - kind of racist on dinner meal. if you cant read Japanese, you cant get special meal such as Crab, fish or claim - food not variety as before i have been here more than 5 times in the past 10 years. every time i feel like the drop the quality of food but i still have a hope that after Covid they might improved. Unfortunately this time will be my last stay in this hotel. i feel racism about Japanese language in the dining place, when all Japanese can have streaming crab, grill crab and stream fish but i only can have a normal meal and finger foods. Staff said i have to tell them if i need such a kind of that food before when i book the room. however they are no details on the website saying such a thing. last time i stay here everyone can have a crab without reservations but this time they required without English announcement !!!

I was staying in the garden traditional Japanese rooms. the room was huge and it had a surprise private onsen! buffet food was pretty good as well. grounds were beautiful.

room was quite tired with a bonus hole in the floor! some soft spots in the floor. hotel needs a little love but could be great.

I was traveling by bicycle and the friendly staff was very accommodating with bicycle storage. Thanks!

The view from the lobby was beautiful. The outdoor bath was very relaxing with a nice view of Mt.Fuji (as long as you are standing).

The room I booked was a "room with mountain view". What they failed to mention was that Japanese style rooms face Mt. Fuji while the Western style rooms face a different mountain.

There was a very nice person driving the shuttle and in general the staff was helpful. The free wifi was also more than adequate.

The room was a smoking room despite there being on indication of such on booking.com. The room was left dirty and the floor had burn marks and hadn't been cleaned in a while, as dirt was clearly visible in open areas. After the cleaning the next day our toothbrushes and floss were left floating in some dirty water. It also didn't remotely meet expectations as the room promised a view of Mount Fuji which was not in any way visible from the room. It also promised a private onsen bath which it definitely did not have. I checked other reviews and apparently both views of Fuji and onsen are available, we just were not placed in these rooms despite what the booking.com listing showed. All in all it was a very poor experience that didn't remotely meet with expectations and I would never choose to stay here again.
