Wonderful, attentive staff, spacious rooms, beautiful views and great breakfast! Truly an authentic experience of Mexico. We will definitely be staying here the next time we visit Guanjuato!

The Breakfast was super!!! Casa Estrella met and exceeded all of our expectations!

It was all quite perfect. Honestly!

Absolutely everything! Felt like I was at home, but with a significantly better view! Booked the suite with the hot tub on the terrace....wow! Staff were welcoming, accommodating, and above all, lovely. Location is a couple of miles out of town, up the hill, which offers the peace and quiet that was being sought, and close proximity for exploration day or night. A hidden gem!

Beautiful property, amazing views, comfortable accommodations, and excellent service.

Breakfast was very good, basic selection but fresh and tasty. The staff is amazingly kind and attentive. You feel like you are the only guest in the hotel! I would definitely go back any time.

Truly one of the most charming, pleasant hotels I have ever stayed at. Just beautiful. We were some of the only guests as well so it felt like we had this massive house to ourselves. Every detail is just wonderful and unique.

There are no restaurants really that are walking distance. Just the downside to getting all this peaceful privacy I guess. It’s only a short taxi ride to town.

The breakfast was wonderful and we ate outside on the covered porch with beautiful views. The place and our room exceeded expectations; all was beautiful and very comfortable.

Finding the place in the first place. Went to a place across the city in the middle of the slums and the street names were identical. Then we discovered there was another street with the same name and we went to that. It was VERY difficult to find the place even though we knew we were at the correct address. Once we found the place, it was Heaven.

Liked everything. We had a gorgeous room with a gorgeous terrace and enjoyed a spectacular breakfast out on the covered porch. We loved everything about the place.

Finding it. Went to the same address across the city and we were in the middle of a slum. discovered there was another place with the same address and finally found the place after driving around it about 3 times. Not easy to find.

Exceptional accommodations. The rooms are spacious with gorgeous views. The staff was extremely helpful. The food was tremendous. Highly recommend.

the bed in the master room was very small and uncomfortable. we suggest they install curtains due to the natural light crashing in at sunlight.

The location is splendid. We stayed at Santa Ana Room and the view was exceptional, looking down towards Guanajuato from the hill. The staff is ready to help us with anything via text. Santa Ana is an apartment like room, and the cooking utensils provided were very generous. Definitely will go back here again.

None. Well there was one time when the hot water didn’t run, but it was quickly solved by the hotel once we reported it.

Beautiful facility with gorgeous views of Guanajuato. Immaculate! Loved the chirping birds outside our window!!! Excellent breakfast! Super friendly staff!

At first we wished we were located closer to a commercial area where we could walk for a coffee or a snack, but soon we realized the natural environment was better!

Casa Estrella was amazing!!! We arrived late in the evening missing dinner and the night watch even tried to find a restaurant open for us. The next day Javier gave us an excellent 411 on the area, other towns in the area recommending places we should go see. He was even able to get us a driver to our next destination that stopped at a couple of his recommendations that was totally worth it. The room and the view was amazing. The staff were so great and the breakfast was super fresh everyday. If you are going to Guanajuato you need to stay here. You will not be sorry.
