Central location, with Fort area within walking distance. The staff have been with the hotel for a long time and are very friendly.
I have been coming back to this hotel for some years. They are either cutting back or at best have stayed still. The hotel needs refurbishment. There are now better options out there for the same or less money.

Its prime location. The hotel is located next to Ambassador Hotel, a 5-star hotel, so taxis are always available. Marine Drive is a walking distance away, where one can enjoy the sea waves crashing through the wave barriers. Each room has a small balcony and leaving the balcony door open, one enjoys the sea breeze which may be quite windy at times.
This hotel was originally named, Chateau Windsor Guest House. I first stayed in this place in 1968 with my parents. It became a habit to stay in this hotel whenever we visited Bombay. This is the first time I am staying without my parents, who sadly passed away a few years back. Not much has changed. Given the price they charge per night, the room is very bland. There is no small refrigerator, no tea making pot, things which one is accustomed to in any decent hotel. Also, the toilet is poorly layed out.

Great location
The rooms I booked were both supposed to be with a balcony, but when we got there we were told it was not available & the second room was not very nice at all and there was noise all night, so my colleague did not sleep much. The breakfast looked horrible.

This hotel's location is fantastic. It's just a few feet away from Marine Drive. The Churchgate Railway Station and the adjoining bus stop are both within walking distance. The room and washroom were both neat and clean.
There was no hot kettle in the room, and they did not have any complementary tea or coffee. It is reasonable to expect given the price. As I was travelling with my child, I had to ask them multiple times through reception for hot water, but it was great that they always gave it immediately.

Hot water and WiFi ok. Fridge but no kettle. Room cleaned thoroughly and tidied as required. Good location - 20 min walk to India Gate area and 5 min to Churchgate Station for cheap travel northwards.
Breakfast passable but was in a room the size of a classroom with just a couple of tables and line of dozen chairs along one side. Coffee or tea from thermos. Toast or some hot buffet choices but fairly limited. Cost 250 rupees not great value. After one day we chose the Pizza cafe across the road offering breakfast cooked on demand for 400-500.

Location.
We booked 2 rooms for 3 persons ( one couple and 1 friend). On the last day we had a friend who wanted to spend 4 hours as he had a flight to catch early morning 7 AM. These people refused to let him stay as they said booking was also for 3 people even though the rate for both the rooms were same and there was a vacancy for one person.. We politely told them that he is ready to give his government id and also pay for extra person, but they straight away said no saying they cannot allow. We even asked them to provide us a room but they said all the rooms are occupied. This all happened at 1AM.

Administration staff cold, what was written on Booking.com as facilities not adhered to, e.g tea/coffee maker, hair dryer nor working & breakfast choice was very limited.
