Very convenient location to where we rented a boat, grocery store, liquor store. The closest restaurant was Splash and it had decent food and drinks. The beach at the property was beautiful and sea turtles came right up to us! We loved the waters around Exuma and enjoyed the house for 2 couples.

Bikini Bottom was absolutely perfect for us. It’s simple with all the necessities. It’s beach front location was perfect and it’s central location on the island made everything we needed easily accessible. The house was well stocked with linens and towels and kitchen supplies. We used the outdoor grill almost nightly and that was perfect for us, except with the humidity it can be challenging to light the charcoal. This is a primitive island and sometimes the power goes out and that’s totally normal, we just went on down and enjoyed the beach or took a nap. The house manager was very quick to respond if I had a question, she was great. We will DEFINITELY be staying at Bikini Bottom again for future visits.

Beautiful place to stay.

We stayed at Bikini Bottom with our friends, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversaries. The beach and tiki hut and view at the property are amazing! We had such a great time and the host and property manager were easy to communicate with and very helpful.

House had everything you could need and felt like a home. Gorgeous view and right on the beach. Ideal location near stores and restaurants but far enough away that it didn't feel busy. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely cottage with a private patio area and non crowded beach!

Very well appointed two bed, two bath house on Hoopers Bay. One of the most desirable locations on great Exuma. The property manager, Tracy, was extremely helpful and very responsive. The tv was not working properly when we arrived. She was back at the property in less than an hour with a new one. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Visiting the turtles down the beach was very enjoyable. It’s also in close proximity to Jolly Hall beach and Georgetown as well as two other grocery/Liquor stores. The unit also had snorkeling gear and floats which were great. Thee only thing missing was comfortable beach chairs/outdoor furniture. Would definitely visit again.

This property has a great beach with (2) tiki huts. Centrally located easy to get to town from there.

My wife and I had a fantastic few days at Bikini Bottom. The home was exactly as described and Gary was extremely accommodating for in and out times for us. The location is perfect and the landscaping makes it completely private. The deck was great for meals and relaxing in the morning sun. Then a few steps down to the beach and cabana for some shade and breeze. There was always a turtle or two directly in front of the property. Our stay was fantastic and we would love to come back. Thank you Gary for sharing your home and helping us have a worry free getaway. We truly enjoyed it!

The house was great! I have to admit, I was little worried when I saw the last rating was a 2.5 but after reading the renter's review and the owner's response I knew there was nothing to worry about. And when I arrived, I was right. Stacey, the house manager, was waiting to greet me for check-in. She showed me all necessary items in the house from thermostat to floats. The house itself was quaint and simple and clean. It's location on the beach was perfect and a every walk along Hooper's Bay was accompanied by sea turtles. The kitchen was well equipped with a coffee maker for breakfast every morning and enough pots and pans for a lobster night in. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious and we didn't even use the loft, which also looked very spacious. We did rent a car, as the host suggests. Do it! Even if you think you are just going to lounge and read a book all day, there will be some errand or dinner you'll want to get out for and while walking there is totally safe crime wise, there aren't side walks, so do yourself a favor, save a little time, and just rent a car! The host gave great recommendations for dinning and grocery stores were no more than 5 minutes in each direction of the house. We both agreed that when we come back to Exuma, we will be staying at Bikini Bottom again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and for making it feel like a home away from home... in paradise!

First the good - Communication with owner great. Property Manager superbly helpful. Beach is amazing. Calm, clear water and lovely sand. Very private. Not built up. Turtles swimming near the dock down the bay. Lots of hot water in the house (be careful). Lots of towels. Very good air conditioning. Great little grocery store within walking distance. Location fine, but we suggest you need a. car. Tough to get taxis at times. Plenty of beach toys/floats etc in the box on the deck. The Bad - Place is tired and needs updating. Kitchen stocked with pans etc but not much else. Nowhere to sit to eat inside except on uncomfortable barstools. Layout strange. Beds not super comfy and only a bottom sheet and a coverlet. Blankets are available in the closets. No top sheet. Eating area outside is not usable. The benches are so far away from the table that its too uncomfortable to use. Gazebo on the beach is just small benches. Lots of bugs so bring spray. In fairness, locals said it was worse than usual. Outdoor shower and faucet worked intermittently. House just changed name so taxi had trouble finding it. The Ugly - The steps from the property to the beach are very treacherous and we thought quite dangerous. They are stone and concrete, uneven and weirdly sloped. Be careful. We had to call the Property Manager to have someone come to the property to carry down the double canoe. We carried sun loungers down but had to let the PM know we could not carry them back up. Paddle board is more of a windsurf board so we could not get that back up either. We did store everything neatly inside the beach gazebo. We stayed weekend nights and we feel we overpaid for the property. The beach made everything better, but we would not stay here again.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Bikini Bottom resort for her 30th birthday and had the most wonderful time. The location is the perfect for hitting up George Town for a water taxi to Stocking Island, renting a boat or grabbing a drink or bite to eat. Its great for day tripping around the island and exploring or sitting in Hoopers Bay directly in front of the property to swim with the turtles, soaking up some rays and knocking a couple back. Waking up, taking our coffee right down to the beach every morning to watch the stunning sunrise was our favourite way to start our days. The Wifi was perfect as I had to work a couples of the days we were there and I could facilitate all my calls from the deck and annoy my coworkers with the breath taking view from the porch. The kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed to prepare and cook all the meals you would have planned. The AC was absolutely amazing to walk into after a hot afternoon down on the beach. It was very nice to have the outdoor shower to rinse off the salt water and sand prior to going back in as well. There was snorkeling gear, floaties, paddle board and a kayak included to use to go exploring the bay. We loved taking the kayak out with the snorkel gear to swim with the turtles a little further off shore (where the bigger turtles are typically found) The owners and on site manager were so very pleasant to communicate with. The on site manager assisted us with some of our activity bookings to ensure we got the most out of our stay in Exuma. We will definitely be booking back with Bikini Bottom Villa and be introducing it to our friends and family. Its a perfect space for a family to come and use or 2 couples to share the space and go seek adventure. See you soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Bikini Bottom Villa on Hoppers Bay. The property was exceptional with a large deck, which was partly covered and a cabana at the beach. The use of lounge chairs were extremely convenient on the deck and down at the beach. The well equipped kitchen and the convenient WiFi made our stay very comfortable. Hoppers Bay with the crystal clear water for snorkelling, beautiful sandy beach and the daily visits by the sea turtles is a must see in Exuma!

This is a lovely house located right on one of the most beautiful beaches on Great Exuma. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Bikini Bottom Villa to anyone. The owner is helpful and easy to communicate with, providing all the necessary details as well as some helpful tips about local attractions.

This private little spot is gorgeous your completely surrounded by the water and sailboats just no Wi-Fi so it is def a breath away from the world during your stay
