Spacious, stylish loft apartment. Great views over the harbour and out to sea. Well equipped. Large comfy beds. Full of character. Peaceful.

There were low ceilings and sloping beams and girders around the edges of the apartment where a tall person like me had to stoop to not bang my head. A few things did not work inc the cooker hood/extractor. Also the electric grand piano looked great but only the top three octaves worked.

Absolutely stunning! I’m obsessed! Nicest place I’ve ever stayed in. So clean and fresh and decor was lovely. Wish I lived there!

We arrived 45 minutes earlier than expected so we went to the meeting place and had something to eat and drink while we were waiting. The hosts were very busy meeting guests so we had a short wait before we were taken to our apartment, but it wasn't a problem for us. The apartment itself was fantastic; spacious, well decorated and they've made the best use of the unusually long rectangular layout. The views from the apartment were lovely, especially in the evening as the sun was going down. As it was a duplex apartment with the bedroom above the living area, kitchen and entrance hall, it felt much more private, quiet and like a real home from home. It was also very well equipped with a good choice of DVD's to watch and board games to play and books to read. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses; more than what we've had in other apartments we've stayed in in the UK. There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally so you don't really need to use anything in the kitchen apart from the kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer, but there is a convenience store about a 10 minute walk away that sells everything you need. The area is fairly quiet, especially so at night and seemed very safe to walk around in the early hours when coming back to the apartment. There's a bus stop just outside the main entrance to the complex so it was easy to get into the city centre, train station or stadium if you don't fancy walking around the area, although you're missing out if you don't as it's absolutely lovely.

It would be better if the meeting place was closer to where the entrance to the apartments are located but I'm guessing the hosts have an arrangement with that particular venue. My only complaint was I found the duvet in the master bedroom way too hot and not breathable. The weather was very warm on the weekend of our stay, with very little wind so the apartment, and in particular the bedrooms, warmed up and didn't really cool down. It doesn't help being located on the top floor and for safety reasons, you can't open the windows up fully to let air in. Fans are supplied but unfortunately, incredibly noisy, so not practical to use day or night. They need to be repaired or replaced.

was quite dark and the beams in the bedroom made it tricky for access to some parts of the room. it would be helpful o explain that in advance. the table was quite small and not enough chairs for 4

Brilliant location, interesting conversion. good facilities. We really enjoyed the ambience of the apartment something completely different to most holiday accommodation.

Alrhough clean on the surface, there were several areas of the apartment that needed attention. eg a mouldy shower curtain, Expelair / vent over the cooker was blocked with grease and dirt. hooks in the bathroom loose.
