Brooke was very helpful from the first booking all the way to the last day of our stay. Cottage was 100% everything that was advertised and very well kept. Easy access and within minutes of the beach and many sightseeing excursions and fabulous eating places. Will definitely recommend this cottage to friends planning a trip to Charleston area.

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend getaway in Charleston! This quaint cottage was the perfect spot to get away from the busyness of the city but conveniently located for all the fun.

We absolutely loved the cottage. We were so pleased with the location, comfort, and cleanliness. Brooke was easy to communicate with and even took time to contact us about an item left behind. It was a perfect getaway!

Loved this property, keep in mind no stove so large meals are not an option but the plus side there hundreds of fantastic restaurants in a short drive of this property, very convenient to all historical sites too! The owners had great suggestions on restaurants and attractions too!

This property was perfect for our family of 4 with two small kids ages 6 & 3. They loved the loft area and the bunk beds were very comfortable. Location was great about 10 minute drive to anything you want to see in downtown and good restaurants about mile away in West Ashley. Highly recommend!

Clean, modern, well decorated cottage. Very well stocked kitchen with Saran wrap, tin foil, Coffee/teabags, cleaning supplies, and bathroom supplies (TP, paper towels). Despite no full size/oven I was able to prepare meals with microwave and toaster oven. Good location with sense of privacy.

This cottage was incredible! Highly recommend. We were here for a family trip (two adults, to kids) and it was ridiculously comfortable and very well appointed. The location was perfect - 15 quick minutes to downtown Charleston and also to the beaches. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood - and lots of delicious and darling restaurants nearby. Hosts are lovely and so helpful. 5+ stars!

Super cute! Everything you need for a weekend stay.

This was our first time in Charleston, and we fell in love with the city and surrounding area. Liz Lane cottage was our home away from home and Brooke and Eric were the paragon of hosts. The cottage was simply lovely - beautifully decorated, spotless, warm, inviting and peaceful. We had everything we could possibly need, and appreciated the snack bags and granola bars that Brooke so graciously had waiting for us upon our arrival. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The guest house was the perfect place for us to stay during Homecoming Weekend! It was so close to The Citadel and all of the activities surrounding Homecoming. The neighborhood was safe and the guest house was immaculate. My daughters loved the bunk beds and the upstairs area was perfect for them. Thank you for the snacks and coffee pods. What a thoughtful touch! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

What a great stay we had at West Ashley. The owners have really anticipated everything -every comfort and every convenience-to give their guests a home away from home. The guesthouse was absolutely lovely, meticulous and perfectly appointed. The quaint and quiet neighborhood was a short drive outside of downtown . We will most definitely be back!

Our stay at the West Ashley property was great. The property was clean and inviting. My wife loved the decor. The owners were awesome sharing details of places to see and restaurants to eat at in Charleston. We had never been there so the info was very helpful. The location was convenient to downtown Charleston. We enjoyed every minute . We will definitely be back and recommend West Ashley to everyone.

The cottage was gorgeous and the perfect size for our trip. The location was about 5 minutes from downtown Charleston in a safe, beautiful neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was amazing and quick to respond from booking to checking out. I will definitely request another reservation in the future. My girls and I absolutely LOVED the cottage!!

Stayed here for a bachelor party, for my brother with him and his groomsmen. Had a wonderful time, the cottage was very quaint and clean. Overall had a great experience and would recommend this spot for anyone looking to vacation in Charleston

Headed down to Charleston this past weekend with 5 friends for my Bachelorette party. The cottage was a great spot for our little group - the host stocked the cottage well with lots of coffee, towels, and even a bottle of wine in the fridge for when we arrived. Two things of note - we did have come difficulty getting an Ubers/Lyfts to pick us up. I would definitely suggest renting a car during your stay. Second - the listing indicates that the downstairs bedroom is a queen mattress, but it felt much more like a full-size. Not a huge deal but something to note if anyone in your group is tall or likes to sprawl out in their sleep! Overall a great spot and we had a lot of fun just hanging out in the cottage and enjoying each others company.

My family enjoyed this property very much. It is in a great location, as we went to the Magnolia Plantation and downtown during our stay. Cottage is designed well, with a lot of thoughtful decorations and furnishings. Neat place!

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! We really enjoy this lovely cottage. It is very comfortable and relax staying this place. The arrangement is elegant and artistic. The bunk bed at loft is very comfortable and sitting at big desk and looking outside is a treat. definitely will stay here when we come to Charleston again.

I stayed here with four of my friends for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. The property was beyond expectations! It was so clean and had everything that we needed for our stay (and then some)! Communication with the owner was amazing-- she was available for whatever we needed before and during our stay. The property was a quick drive or Uber ride to King Street and other touristy Charleston things, and close grocery store, Total Wine, and really anything else you could need. Would recommend to anyone considering booking, and I will definitely be booking again when I come to Charleston next!

I planned a bachelorette trip for my sister in law and this cottage was perfection! It so cute and fit our aesthetic. Everyone slept comfortably, it was so clean and in a great location.

My family and I are so glad we got the chance to stay at this incredible guest house! Well-decorated, comfortable, incredibly clean, with lots of thoughtful details like hooks in convenient places and snacks upon arrival. My 6-year-old daughter loved the loft area and having a yard to play in (and playmates in the hosts' two little girls). My husband and I loved the convenient location in a quiet neighborhood only minutes from downtown. The check-in process was simple, and Eric and Brooke were excellent hosts. We enjoyed chatting with them, and it was obvious that they make every effort to ensure their guests have a wonderful experience.

Great location for a family visit to Charleston. The guesthouse is well-appointed & had everything we needed. In a nice neighborhood only minutes from the popular attractions. Even better than the pictures indicate. The two sets of bunk beds are great for a family. The hosts were responsive when needed. Would definitely stay there again..

Less than a 15 minute drive to get everywhere we wanted to go. Cute loft and great hosts!
