All the members of staff were excellent. They went out of their way yo help, even getting a cab for me. Much appreciated.

I am a scholar and a policy maker. So I will be very blunt and honest. The working staff I dealt with were Black people and were excellent. However, one of the bosses, perhaps the owner, a White woman was quite unpleasant. Her look, action and body language were nasty. First time I noticed this I did not make much of it. But on my last morning there, she found me conversing with another guest over breakfast, said no word, made a face and turned down the tv volume without a word. I am the one who had put the tv on so I could watch news. Then I wanted to buy a phone from the mall and they needed proof that I stayed at the property. She simply refused. I was shocked. This was such a simple and harmless request. So next time I am likely to avoid this property because of her. If she does not want to entertain Black guests she must state it. Her bad attitude was only tempered on balance by a White old man there, a relative of hers I guess. This is a descent human being who advised me on shopping in Sandton. May God keep this man.

Room size is okay, toilet is clean and fine. Breakfast is very basic. Staffs are good but owner is little rude.

Disappointed they have sealed the baths off due to water issue. It would have been nice for a heads up on that on the intro to the room. But that has been done for a reason so understandable, but a heads up would have been nice.

The lodge is located in a beautiful area. Most restaurants are five minutes away and so is Sandton City. They have generators for loadshedding

It served the purpose for which I was there for and had a generator during loadshedding which was plus and magnificent 👌 😉

the room was very comfortable . The evening dinner was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was secure and within easy proximity.

The shower was not very good as the shower rose seemed a bit blocked and the water flow was very uneven.
