The pillows were exceptional . I’m always hesitant with hotel pillows , but they were fantastic , and so was the linen , and the bed so comfortable as well . THANK YOU
I was a bit hungry , and with no car , some ready made sandwiches or sushi in the fridge in the entertainment room would of been so handy

I booked a one-bedroom suite, hoping my teen daughter and I would sleep in separate rooms, but unfortunately, the second room turned out to be a tiny 5m2, uncomfortable box.
The room is smelly and needs a good steam cleaning.
Housekeeping needs to clean better. The cups and plates from our breakfast were still on the table when we returned in the evening. The accidentally broken cup was not replaced but tossed in the cupboard. The toiletries in the shower ran out of hair conditioner, so we requested the receptionist refill it in the morning. However, it was still empty when we returned in the evening. Had to go downstairs again to ask for it.
Location—literally, there is nothing around. It is a dull area with no eateries or entertainment. We regret not booking in the city walk area.
The Spa was closed during the Easter holidays but was still advertised when we booked and was included I guess in the room rate.

Really friend staff, amazing gym facilities and I was able to walk to so many nearby locations. Really beautiful building and was nice and quiet.

It was beautiful building. Interrior was modern but classic and outside had a historic atmosphere. Bed was nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel was generally well maintained.
First, no lift. My knees aren't good but I had to carry my suitcase and other luggages to the room upstairs via many stairs. Secondly, when I requested 2 single beds I meant twin bed but there were 2 single beds put together like a double bed. I believe it was because I ticked 'couple' when I booked a room but there was no option for 'friends'. Third, all power points were on the bottom of walls. Again, I had to kneel my bad knees and it was painful.

We like to stay in smaller, quieter hotels with a little bit of old-fashioned atmosphere. Brassey Hotel fulfills all those requirements, in a quiet area plus has off-street parking

The gym was fantastic. Also the communal mini bar prices were very reasonable.
The basic room was very small. Not much room for two peoples luggage. No PowerPoint in the bathroom for the hair dryer. If you are booking for two people I suggest booking a larger room. No on-site restaurant.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Building looked nice on arrival. Lounge area with open fireplace was welcoming.
Aircon (Heating) not working in first room, so had to change rooms. 2nd room heating worked, but TV remote back was missing so batteries fell out whenever I picked it up. Room wasnt very clean - lots of thick dust round minibar and in cupboard. If it wasnt so late I would have asked for a third room

Aside from the pleasant accommodations, I found the on-site fitness center and proximity to nearby dining to be particularly appealing.
In general , you won't find a restaurant or an lift within the building.

The hotel itself is very lovely, staff were very nice and efficient, downstairs lounge with snacks and minibar (no minibar in the room), room overall good.

Fantastic location with easy access to Manuka, Kingston and the waterfront restaurant precinct.
The room was OK but nothing to rave about. Given that the building is older and the spaces designed for another era, the expectations of the suites being swish is unrealistic.
