Both rooms were clean and tiday! Tony was friendly and very helpful....even giving us some milk in a jug. Loved the blackout blind in room 1. Very quiet setting. Loved the Retro feel.
The only thing is aircon would have been nice as it did get hot at night in both rooms. A fan in lounge of Rm 1, but nothing in bedrooms. Everything else was brilliant!

Great location, short walk into town and with a lovely pub nearby (the Mole & Chicken). The owners were really helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

Well kept, clean room with plenty of space. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Free parking was also appreciated.
Shower was on the smaller side and has a curtain instead of a door so water got out. Not a dealbreaker.

The room was great. The location was good. Clean and tidy. The theme was great with cool furniture. Like the little treats left but there was only 2 when there was 3 of us checked in. Fabulous outdoor area, even tho we didn't use it because of the weather.
No milk was given. We took milk but thought we may get some as part of the room. Didn't ask tho. Not enough power cords for all the available items in the room. i.e TV, lamps, DVD player, electric blankets. Let alone trying to charge your phones as well.

Very clean. Was nice to have proper big pump hand soap & shower gel dispensers and not lots of little bottles & a bar of soap. I was expecting a very unfashioned “retro” room, but instead found a tasteful retro-finished room which ticked all the boxes that a motel stay should. i didn’t have my dog during this stay, however it would be a perfect stay with a dog since it had a back door off the bathroom.
It was very light at dawn when sleeping in the bed in the lounge, and I had to put a blanket over the wooden shutters. This didn’t effect my stay as I needed to be up early anyway!

These Motel rooms are really lovely with their 60 and 70's themes - well set out, plenty of room, good size bathroom, everything you need for a wee get away. Lovely outdoor area and super close to town. Nice to have on-site parking and only a handful of rooms make up this boutique Motel.

The Lake Motel made us and our fur baby feel very welcome. Our room was quiet and clean within easy walking distance to the lake which was beautiful to wake up to.
