Very gracious and helpful hosts. By Italian hotel standards, breakfast was excellent. I visited in the off-season, and the price I paid seemed very reasonable for the overall offering. Everything in the room was clean and modern. Hotel is on the edge of the historic centre and is a great compromise location which is very practical for access to Matera Sud railway station.

This B&B is located very close to the Sassi area. It is clean and modern with all the amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they gave us many tips and suggestions for sights to see, and also helped us with tour and restaurant reservations. One of our best stays on our Italy vacation.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good, I had a nice balcony and the air-conditioner worked well. It’s in a great location, easy to reach all the main attractions and there are some nice restaurants nearby.

The bed was a little too hard for my taste, I prefer a softer bed. And the TV was a bit small.

the location was excellent an easy walk from the station and very close to the main attractions. the staff were exceptionally helpful taking the time to explain what to see and marking it on a map. the hosts kindly drove me to the bus stop. breakfast was delicious, plentiful and varied. wonderful shower and spotless. highly recommended.

This B&B is in an excellent location, right on the edge of the Sassi. It was clean and quiet. Staff were kind and helpful, and had prompt communication. Breakfast each morning was great.

Location - you cannot beat that for the money it costs, not in Matera. Impeccable cleanliness. Great shower and water pressure. Very kind and helpful host. It's possible to leave the bags after checking-out if you are willing to explore the town on the day of check-out without carrying the bags with you. and btw, there is an excellent coffee and pastry bar - Bar Fortunello - just around the corner.

Would prefer if could do self-service at breakfast, felt a bit odd that every single piece of food was served by the host who was there asking which type of cheese, meat or yoghurt we would like. But don't want to make an issue of this because perhaps that was an expression of being polite from the host's side (albeit personally - as mornings are not the best part of my day - I would prefer I could approach food buffet on my own and be generally left to myself until that espresso kicks in :p ) But that's a minor thing which did not affect the generally positive view of the place.

Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Hosts were incredible - even assisted with providing a map, and taking the time to highlight places to go. Very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included local foods, which added nicely to the trip.

The room corresponds to the description and albeit small is what i needed and very comfortable. All details were thought of and it was very clean. The hosts were super accommodating and nice. The breakfast was good.

A minor thing is that the main door of the bedroom is a sliding door and it does not close very well and light gets in and potentially can be a bit noisy (the other guests were quiet so it was not an issue during my stay).

The location could not have been better. You are exactly two minutes walking from the belvedere at Piazzetta Pascoli which is exactly where you want to be to watch the sunrise. The breakfast was excellent. Staff is helpful and accommodating. I loved that I had the ability to come and go as I please. That was very good. They also printed out something I needed for the next day. No complaints at all.

Silvia a d her husband are extreme welcoming and service oriented. The showed me a gratis parking space, the breakfast was just breathtaking fro. It's variety and freshness... In 50 meters you are in the middle of the old Town... Just perfect 😊

Excellent B&B. My single room was extremely clean, air-conditioned and had a spacious modern shower, a foldable desk and a very comfortable bed. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and the Italian-style breakfast was also excellent. I recommend this place.

Very welcoming owners. Picked me up, gave a lot of information and made a fantastic breakfast.

A nice room and they do sanitize the rooms daily. The free breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful and friendly. The owner booked a tuk tuk tour for me (which I highly recommend) and everyone was responsive. She also picked me up at the train station for free. Good location - easy walking distance to the museums and some restaurants.

The rooms are close together so you do get some noise but it wasn't too bad. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but not terrible so I did manage to sleep. Overall, I recommend the hotel and Matera is worth visiting.
