Location was great. Comfy and quiet and warm and dry given we were there during the tail end of a cyclone. Easy walking distance to town.

Toilet was in with the bath and shower which meant if someone was in the massive awesome bath, loo was unavailable. There were lots of old stains on the carpet - very noticible and made me not want to remove shoes, comfy but decor could do with a revamp. Little things all just added up to bring down the overall impression. Rusty stairs outside, coffee not refilled daily, not all towels changed each day. For the price we paid I was expecting a lot more upmarket.

Great location - Close to the beach. We had a ground floor sea view room and didn’t hear the traffic on Marine Parade at all. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Washing and drying facilities were great.

Hot water wasn’t plentiful and waiting for the shower to be warm took ages when turned on.

the room and decor were a little tired and dated, and whilst overall the room felt clean and tidy their was mold in the shower and cracked tiles/loose fittings in the bathroom.

Rude receptionist, not very welcoming. Got charged extra for a child without any notice, child was visiting for 1 hour (had dinner with my partner and I up in room then dropped him off) and receptionist assumed he stayed which he clearly did not. Called reception today to inquire about the extra charge and got rude service once again

Location was great, friendly service at reception. Room was a great layout with having a separate bedroom with single beds in it for children. We didnt get to use the spa bath, but was a great option to have. Also had a new large tv.

Lets just say I am hoping we got a bad room and it does not deflect the entire complex as that would be sad if this is the case. Our room was extremely run down, broken tiles in entrance and bathroom areas, damaged with sub standard repairs done to door frames (abit of paint to cover repair would help). Wallpaper looking super tired. Duvet inners and bed spreads were stained. Sheets were clean. Pillows are well worn and need replacing. Room could use a deep clean as there was blood on tiles and dust n dirt in simple places to clean, eg corner of bathroom sink. However I do understand these places have had it hard the last few years, so I hope changes get made so people can start enjoying accommodation again like we use to. Kitchenette was in good condition.
