Old colonial look, large room, good location

Broken lock on door, no room safe, ponderous check in, had to ask for WiFi code which was given and then found to be wrong, indifferent staff when asked about tours.

WASHBOWL IS IN THE BEDROOM, OUTSIDE THE BATHROOM WHICH IS RATHER INCONVENIENT.

Rooms were very comfortable

The attitude and response of the hotel's staff could improve

the property was fine the problem was a staff member that gave away my phone number name and room numbers to a third party who then where calling me at 1:30 am trying to extorsión me threatening me wanting me to wire them money and trying to get more information of other potential family members to try to extortion them

This hotel is in such a lovely building. The room was huge. Furnishings in keeping with the building. Modest but functional bathrooms. Staff helpful. Pool available though we didn't use and it is quite small, but has deckchairs. We loved sitting in the courtyard and reading on the first floor balcony. it's very close to the historic centre of town and not far from the bus stop for the Mundo Maya museum.

For a 3 star hotel the room and facilities are not up to par. The room has high humidity that the bed/shirt felt damp, swimming clothes didn't dry after hanging for 3 days, infested with water bugs and mosquitoes. AC was functional however couldn't bring the room to a comfortable temperature. The comforter has traces of stains. No ventilation in the washroom.

Doors don’t seal well! Had to request extra towels. They gladly gave us extras. Gave an extra half hour for check out.

Good location and nice staff

The junior suite was quiet, even though the hotel is very close to the Central Plaza (a few blocks away). The rooms were plenty large and the beds comfortably firm. The air conditioners were quiet and effective. The bathroom was clean, but could use better lighting closer to the sink area. For a more economical hotel, it was very nice. We did have a rental car, which we kept in the secure hotel lot for our stay; we needed hotel staff to assist us in directing us to the lot, opening and closing the gate, and walking back to the hotel. Because of the one-way streets, the lot seems farther away then it is but the walk from the hotel is about 5+ minutes. Although there is no designated parking in front of the hotel, a short loading or unloading park is fine and done frequently all along the one-way streets of central Merida.
