A peaceful haven with a lovely, tranquil garden. Comfortable beds and several sit out areas. We had a good home cooked dinner on our arrival and every kind of drink seems to be available. Between the magnificent Taj Mahal and our stay at Coral Tree our shorty stay in Agra was a delight.

Bear in mind that Ubers can’t come to the property so best to take one of the waiting cabs or taxis from outside the property.

Well, speaking about India can’t be separated from the Taj Mahal. And when visiting this famous Agra area, the question is, where to stay. If you want to be first in line for the entry a sunset or don’t want to have a tuktuk rally after dark when visiting at dusk, here is the place to stay. 5-10 minutes by foot to the main entry and a nice homestay-hotel are a calm haven in a busy and sometimes "mildly chaotic" city. A wonderful host and team, a lovely place and nice rooms. And a home-cooked dinner with other guests if you like to join. When we are around next time as we had just one day in Agra, we will stay here again and can’t wait for it.

Its beautiful, quiet, cozy, and very well decorated. The owners are very nice and affable. Rooms were very clean and the outdoor space is a heaven for taking beautiful portraits. Taj Mahal is at a walking distance of 10 mins. We would not have found a better place to stay amidst all the hustle bustle of the city.

Our stay was very enjoyable. Every nook and corner was aesthetically beautifu, colourfull and photoworthy. Home cooked breakfast, warm welcome by hosts along with their 4 legged angel cat made it all comfy and home like stay.

The overall ambience was beautiful. Room decors, cleanliness, facilities were very good. And they make the best aloo paratha for breakfast😊

It was a little difficult to locate, even with the help of google map. Google maps kept showing a route that was inaccessible.

The location is super, it takes few minutes to reach the Taj Mahal and it has a nice garden. The owners were also friendly, kind and helpful. The room was big, clean and quite.

The location is the big selling point- it’s extremely close to the Taj Mahal, which allowed us to roll out of bed at 5:00 to make the 5:45 opening time and beat the crowds. Also it’s a pretty property- we stayed for a very short period of time but noticed how green it was, with lovely decor. Bed linens were nice and clean, room was clean, bathroom could have been a tad bit cleaner (walls had some odd traces of idk what) but overall very hygenic and can’t complain.

We were a little put off by a somewhat icy reception. We can only imagine it was because we arrived quite late at night (22:30) for check in? Perhaps we assuming incorrectly, but couldn’t think of another reason for the very short behavior by one of the owners. The guest house was not in communication with us about check in times, and we unfortunately lost cell service for the entire day on the way from Goa to Agra so couldn’t update them about late arrival until 21:00 😬😬😬 So I would suggest better communication from the hotel regarding check in prior to arrival. Also- the breakfast could have been a little better. It was OK though.

Nice homestay with super nice family. The pictures are a little bit better than the reality, but even that the hotel is clean and cozy. Everybody in Agra knows it so I think this is one of the best options to stay. Also it’s very well located - 10 minutes by walk from Taj Mahal, on one near from the best street in Agra (away from everyday chaos).
