we had a few comments to the staff about our room that can be improved for our next stay! they were very welcoming!

Misleading advertisement/false information by booking.com!!! “Hakcan" is listed in booking.com as Hotel, but in reality it is Otel! Those who have traveled to Turkey know the huge difference between Hotel - with good service, rooms with normal sizes and some extras, cleanliness, good breakfast but the big difference Otel - a place where you can sleep for one night without any comfort. For those who have not traveled to Turkey: be careful, do not trust and do not use Otel, and in Izmir I would not recommend Hakcan Otel. Room: room size was more of a "corridor"! Comfort: 0 points! Cleanliness: -1 points! Breakfast: enough to say that there is! Staff: Always “busy” and Bored! Prices: extremely high for "nothing" received!

very close to the airport, very convenient. close to a massive shopping mall, 10 minute walk. free breakfast which was incredible for the price. staff all very friendly and helpful

if you have a room on the front room, make sure to bring your ear plugs can get noisey from the highway

We had a room on the main street side. Due to the level of traffic/honking/etc. noise, we had poor sleep both nights.

Friendly staff

Traffic noise at night is bad. Shower is designed where a lot of water escapes outside of shower door and you have to use towels to clean up. We were there in December and hotel does not allow you to control thermostat. The first night was unbearable (84 degrees) in room. We called and they said they would change. We woke up at 3:30 in the morning and walked down to front desk. They dropped it lower but never told me a wall heater was also on the wall in room. I finally figured that out around 4:00 and turned off. Very little sleep that night. Next night was much better but sill opened room window until I was ready to go to sleep. Couldn’t keep open due to traffic noise.

Nice and clean hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, value for money

We needed accommodation close to the airport, it was just that. Well situated, professional staff. Decent sized room, upmarket and comfortable. Even though parking is very limited, they were able to accommodate us so we were able to leave for the airport early in the morning.

We spent only one night at the hotel and we had a comfortable night. It is close to the Izmir airport and there is parking in front of the hotel. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable and good shower. We arrived quite late but we did not have problem with the check-in. The hotel is located in a busy road but the room is quite. Very good value for money.

Breakfast is quite simple.

The staff is nice and they helped us to get a taxi to the airport and city center.

The walls were leaking, and I could hear the water running when the room next to me used the bathroom. the shower box door doesnt close so the floor was flooding with water. Not many options for breakfast. No essential toiletries, just shampoo. The AC is too loud. The electric socket was burnt. The location is far away from the city center. Overall not a very pleasant stay.
