Location is incredible, off the beaten track yet easily accessible from Thun. Views of mountains are stunning. So quiet and beautiful. Rooms are lovely as well, high level specification and very comfortable/clean. The hot tub was fantastic! Well worth getting a hot tub room for an amazing experience/view. Breakfast was very good indeed with a wide range of options.

Evening meal was extremely limited in choice, although the service was sweet and friendly and the food home-cooked.

Location was super, in the middle of mountains and lack of much tourists. Were surprised about possibilities for hiking and cycling, next time will stay a bit longer to explore surroundings. A room was spacious and very cute, breakfast was excellent. Staff was super helpful and as we were a very first time in Kiental, the waitress from the restaurant gave us a lot of recommendations what to see and what to do and where to go.

I missed for hairdryer in bathroom, and bathroom itself needs to be a bit repaired.

Beautiful location with incredible views. The bed is very pretty. Breakfast was ok. Staff - the blonde woman who has two dogs - was especially lovely. We had issues with the room and chose to check out early and they were kind enough to refund one night.

The hotel is not designed for the summer months. The rooms are too hot and the way the windows are made means you need to decide if you want them open and sunlight blinding you from 4a or closed and roasting hot. The bathroom wasn’t very clean. Toothpaste marks all over the sink and shower. Duvet was too heavy for summer. Nowhere to put clothes so you have to have your case sprawled all over the floor. The lower level rooms have hot tubs which means you have to listen to their conversations all night as they are right under your window.

Views from our room and balcony were phenomenal. Technically was a small suite with extra seating area. Style of furniture was beautiful, very antique. Selection of teas were good. Memory foam mattress was ok, not good for me but husband liked it.

No reception staff to greet you on arrival. Left keys and free drink vouchers in an envelope. 1 lady at breakfast, who was really nice. Better selection at breakfast would be good, for the price you pay. Could do with a deep clean in the grooves of the bed frame, bed lamps and chandelier. Bathroom/toilet was quite small and very dated. Dangerous towel handles. Shower door was a bit loose and was a tight squeeze. TV would be good, when weather is bad. Worst issue we had was the last night of our 2 day stay, our neighbours in another room were playing techno music till early hours of the morning. We slept with ear plugs and could still hear them. There's no one available to complain to, which is really disappointing!!

Perfect remote location. The room and hot tub overlooked the mountain and it was very peaceful.

The room could have been cleaner. The cups in our room were also dirty. We didn’t see any staff during our one night stay here.

Location is awesome, the views are awesome and the hot tub is very VERY good. Very big sleeping room.

Haven't seen anyone at the reception not in the evening nor the morning. Booked a room for 2 with hot tub, received 2 rooms, 1 for sleep and one with the hot tub. The rooms are not that clean. The wooden floor makes a lot of noise when walking on them. The breakfast was pretty poor, the usual 1 types of cheese and some salami. No veggies, no any type of prepared eggs.

Location and view was great.

Room (bathroom) had a strange smell. It was not a lavatory smell. More like some kind of material which was smelling/stinking. No real service. No receptionist/reception behind the desk.

Good location in a nice mountain area. Friendly hotel manager. Comfortable room.

The room was not similar to the picture, meanwhile it has been refurnished but not with the same romantic style. Same with the breakfast room, some furniture were historic and nice (chairs, some tables), but next to it there were furniture from the '70's. It looked odd. Plus, we've received a mail the day before our arrival, mentioning that we could have dinner at the hotel, but upon arrival, we've discovered that it was closed on Sunday night, and nothing else was open in the village. Luckily we've had a car so we could go somewhere else. Breakfast was standard and not homemade. The jacuzzi was only for a certain type of room.

This is a very beautiful place to stay, impregnated with history and real soul. We enjoyed every minute. The room was Lux with whirlpool with magnificent view at mountains. At night we were hanging in the warm (35deg) water looking in the sky with stars. Room was very cozy and clean, furniture in baroque style, which emphasized historical impression. Personal was very careful, police and friendly.

I don’t know.. maybe I would like to visit restaurant, but it was under reconstruction.

Location was very good and the view was stunning. I recomand this hotel 100%. Of course it's not a 5 star hotel but quality-price value is more than ok. Thank you.

The only problem I had were 2 drunk and loud Italian girls in the room next to ours . They had the party going till midnight. But this is not hotel's fault, only lack of the girls' education.
