For what it is I think is expensive

staffs are really really super kind and thr location is very nice.

very dirty and there was no a/c and fan so it was extremely hot inside. some insects on the bed. no house keeping.

fantastic location. Small gym.

Rooms very basic. not enough cutlery or plates etc! no decoration as in images . a bit shabby.

We didn't get the studio that we requested 4 months ago, but a smelly double room, without air conditioning. The rooms don't look like the pictures on booking.com at all

Everybody on reception was very nice and trying to help if we have some questions. Rooms was nice and clean, even open sofa was waiting for us, as it was 4 of us comming. There was AC in room, very helpful on hot days. Kitchen was nicely equiped. Breakfast was nice-we got milk, cereals, jogurts and juices in a box, croissants, biscuits, jam, butter even coffee maker with coffee was there. The place was not far from beach, very close to ZOO and buses just 6 stops from main points like CASA BATTLO or CASA MILA

Great location and good value for money if you are looking for simply a bed to sleep in. AC is really good in the hot weather and the water pressure in the shower was excellent.

On arrival there was a very strong disgusting, rancid smell that filled the studio. When we inspected further, it was coming from the drains. They must have some drainage issues as it was really pungent and filled up the whole studio. Any time we were at the property we had all windows and the door wide open with AC on and we had to go to Lidl to buy air fresheners etc. Overnight we couldnt have the door open and it was truly disgusting. When I went to ask the receptionist about the smell and drain issues he couldnt understand me and only offered an air freshener, instead of changing rooms/refund/investigating and fixing the issue. This was really the main reason I’m giving a 5/10 as it really impacted our stay and we were gagging every time we were in the studio. It was truly so disgusting… shame they didnt do anything at all about it. Other things to note are although there is a kitchenette fully equipped with plates, cutlery and pots, there is no washing up liquid, sponges, dish towels or even hand soap. This was quite strange and we had to buy our own (for only 3 nights so it was really a big waste of money). Last thing is this is a student accommodation and on the night we arrived we were tired from travelling but the students were throwing a loud party above us until 1am with loud music, singing etc. Kind of expected with a student accom so don’t book if you are looking for a very quiet stay.

really nice location for a short stay in Barcelona; we loved that we were able to walk to the centre. The breakfast at the nearby caffe was an added bonus :)

I really like the the area around the Residencia and the Restaurant in front of the house, where they serve the breakfast. Attention: there you can only choose between meat or veggie. The reception in the Residencia is always manned, someone is always there. That makes you feel good.

I don‘t know where to start. You will be asked to pay as soon as you arrive, not when you leave. This task is not very personable. So i´ve paid, they gave me the breakfast cards for every day and that was it for the first day. The room was not as expected, it was spacious but very spartan. The first night was hard for me because the refrigerator was so noisy and the following nights where also tough, because of the heat and because someone was probably moving chairs over me ALL THE TIME. That was very loud, resting in the room was very uncomfortable. My water didn‘t get hot for the first three showers and the communication with the house was a bit difficult sometimes. The floor was very dirty, also after cleaning. In general i was very disappointed with the house after looking at these amazing photos on booking.com. Half of the house is under construction, sometimes workers where there, sometimes not... To be honest to all the other travellers out there: The accomondation doesn‘t look 100% like on these very well staged photos. However ONE employee always tried to take care of my concerns. He was calm and friendly and i was very grateful for that.

I wasn't given the room that I booked. Booking.com agreed to compensate me but gave me nothing and didn't help. I spent most of my time on the phone or emailing them trying to sort it out. They didn't ring me back when promised or sort things out properly. If you like paying the top price for bottom standard of accommodation - this place is for you! False Advertising!

I liked the location (central but not noisy). The room is relatively small but is has everything one needs: a separate bathroom, a kitchenette and kitchen utensils. The room has two tables, which is convenient if you need to work.

Staffs were totally the most positive item of this hostel! They help us a lot in all matters. Location is amazing in a way that we didn't need any metro or bus to visit the city . we enjoyed walking around it was totally safe. Breakfast was ok as well especially as it was served in an open space.

I prefered to have more facilities like iron, hairdryer and etc. and also there weren't air conditioner in the room. and fans were not enough during the day.

Nothing. I got what I need. Expected that the room is not airconditioned but the fan made up for it.

They charged additional city tax on arrival, even though when I made and paid for the booking online, it said that all taxes were included in the payment.
