We have been going to the Heron since 2012. It’s a lovely hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. On our most recent trip (July 2023) they extended our room until the evening free of charge, as we weren’t flying out until late evening. The food is good, but do allow a bit of extra time for service. The rooms are spacious and there are lovely 2 bedroom apartments for families. We’ve never had a problem with noise from outside (apart from the hadeda ibis!)

Depending on the room, some of the features can be a little tired (eg broken shower fixing) and the keycards can be a bit temperamental so you keep having to go and get them reprogrammed at reception!

I'm a repeat guest in Heron Hotel and this goes back to early 2000. While I've experienced afew things every any other time,the Heron Court Hotel has maintained it's cleanliness and very polite staff even after several changes of management. The bar is average but this time round the kitchen has changed ,well Corona period changed everything everywhere in the world,so I'm sure it will improve to the original standard. Looking forward to more joyful returns.

I never got to swim in the morning because the pool was dirty (understandably,it was raining steadily for days before I landed).

I liked it, it was awesome, the food was great, services were amazing and the staff were quick to respond to the questions.

The fact that they had only one iron box or less in supply and I have to be called at 6:00 am to hand it over to the house keeping

Friendly Staff

My room was only cleaned twice during my stay! I had to ask for tea and coffee to be topped up and for bottled water.

good location, comfortable beds, good a/c. swift checkin.

no hand soaps provided in the rooms and even on asking, only 1 provided between 2 people. Water leaking out from the shower cubicle. Wifi was not working. TV in the room not working.

Perfect Hotel to stay for 1 to 4 nights. Great swimming pool and a good gym. The breakfast taste good and you can eat a nice dinner in the evening.

Several times there was no hot water.

The staff were amazing and helpful, we had so many questions and queries and everyone made time to help us with advice and friendly conversation.
