Location was good. Tagaytay was a nice city, however we couldn’t enjoy the city because of the (bad) condition of accommodation. The representative (or caretaker) was pleasant and tried to help us. However, she could not help us with the issues we raised, as she had to communicate with the owner to make decisions - a delayed response.

(1) When we arrived at the reception of the premises, we rang the representative to collect the keys. Unfortunately, the line wasn’t clear. I then asked the receptionist at Tower 4 to ring the representative. Phone had been switched off. (This has happened to us several times. She leaves the phone switched OFF and we could not talk to her). The receptionist sent a message to the representative and then she rang the Receptionist and came to take us to our room and hand over the keys. Was a difficult process. (2) When we entered the room with the representative, there was a bucket in the middle of the room under the air conditioner. Water was leaking from the air conditioner (dripping to the bucket), making water dripping noise throughout the night. Couldn’t sleep the whole night. (3) No hot water for the whole stay. Couldn’t take a shower for two days. Tap ware in the kitchen and bathroom were all covered with a powder like stuff. Filthy, but the representative said that it wasn’t dirty and that’s how it is, (4) Although it was said ‘a fully equipped kitchen’, no bowls to have our cereal. Even one cup was chipped. (5) All kitchen cabinets were padlocked. (6) Whenever we sent messages to the owner with specific questions/issues, the owner sends the same documents without attending to our specific requests. The documents have details on rules and penalties, about 5 pages. (7) We never had problems with other booking.com accommodation throughout our Philippines holiday and our previous holidays. We felt we were cheated with this accommodation and we should not be charged for this accommodation, which was not according to the descriptions advertised in booking.com. We do not recommend this accommodation to any one who wishing to stay in Tagartay.

The location and safety around the vicinity. Fantastic view of the lake and Taal Volcano! It’s near restos, stores, church, gas station. Clubhouse looks interestig for the young ones & relaxing as well. The room has the basics but the kitchen and dining utensils need an upgrade. All worn out.

The parking is quite far but the walk is nice! Have your elders and PWDs, luggages dropped off at the lobby before parking. Room needs a little upgrade. I wouldnt mind paying more for the ugrade. The toilet and bath has a nice shower but prob need a major cleaning. There was a promo party in the parking lot with loud acoustics up to late in the night, prob beyond 12mn!!!

It took some time to take unlock the key box. Also the connection for the internet and TV took some time. Nice, clean and cozy

Bed is spring, uncomfortable to sleep.
