Jaychandra (JC), the manager, was excellent in networking guests with each other. He made himself available to help at any time, unlike the main manager, Noufi. Jaychandra was the central reason my stay escaped the categorisation of bad experience; he made it better.

• The main manager, Noufi, was rude and irresponsible of his duties; never once could I find him for attending his responsibilities and expectations. At most, he pretended to help and nothing more than that. • Noufi’s manner of communicating made me really uncomfortable. • The bathroom didn’t had proper lighting and hygiene. • There were a lot of mosquitoes. • The building looked old, the paints were worned off, the tables were piled up with junk and garbage, and it didn’t match the pictures. It certainly reflected Noufi’s managing efforts: which is to say, none. He did nothing for the maintenance of the property.

The location was excellent. But the room was not maintained properly. Mosquitos made the experience even worse. The people there was amazing and get to know lot of them. The in-charge guy was cool and made things easier.

Nothing to mention

no cleanliness in the room and in the bathroom, anyone can coming and seating like a public place, not recommended at all. staff was not helpful .

The maintenance and the property itself

This was my 1st solo trip and I loved the stay there. The location was great. The people I met there were so cool. I was there for five days working at night(Please note Wi-Fi was strong outside the rooms if you are planning a Workation). Noufal(host) was very friendly and helped me with everything I needed. It felt like home. I will be coming back to Trippr whenever I visit Alleppey.

I wish the tables on the lobby area were computer table height instead of coffee table height. It was hard to Sit and work.

The location is next to the beach, which is nice, but other than that it is very basic. Nice people there.

There is a rat in the kitchen and outside in the patio at night you will see big rats as well. Granted that is because of the area, but still, not the nicest things to see. The bed is quite hard, and it is super hot in the room until you can turn on the AC at 9 oclock at night. Sitting outside has a lot of mosquitos, so it isn't the most comfortable place to chill out at.

We're not that difficult so we don't complain fast but maybe the following could be used as constructive feedback. Unfortunately the room had not been cleaned in a while. The floor and the bedsheets were clean but the rest of the room was very dirty. A lot of dust on everything in the room and the bathroom was not cleaned at all. There were toothpaste stains on the sink, dirty spots on the toilet, mold everywhere and toothpicks from the previous owner still on the shower shelf. In general the whole bathroom could use a good deep cleaning.

A humble hostel near Alleppey beach. Manager DHRUMIL is very very friendly, calm, receptive and was on toes in ready to help from heart kind. Other volunteer were friendly helping us organize sight viewing and gave us company.

Location is very close to beach, hardly few steps. Most of the hostels are located here. Few good café's near the property. Managers are helpful and supportive.

Sadly everything. After staying at 2 best hostel properties, somehow Tripper did not meet my expectations. I am not sure if it is the entire town or just the hostel vibe which didn't work for me. The place was "extremely quiet". Being a solo traveller, you need people or certain vibe to enjoy the place. Even on saturday night when i was expecting a good crowd, there was hardly any person to see. I booked my stay for 3 nights with advance payment but somehow i couldn't stay more than 1 night and moved to my next destination. Property is also very simple with basic amenities and lot of mosquitoes. Nothing against the place and usually i don't like giving negative reviews but the whole place vibe was lamented.
