Greeted by a stunning driveway and beautiful grounds we knew we were in for a treat when we arrived at our accommodation. Annie welcomed us in and it didn't take long to understand why there are so many good reviews. With our 2 year old in tow we had an absolutely wonderful time as a little family of 3 settling in to cherry tree manor. With so much to explore from the stunning gardens, rock walls, pond, paddocks with friendly alpacas, and a huge swimming pool and spa, we wished we could've stayed longer. Surrounded by so much greenery with a country side feel yet a short 5 minute drive and we were in the city centre of Hamilton on the main street for dinner. Superbly close to the Hamilton Gardens. The location is fantastic and it's clear that Annie and her husband have poured a lot of heart into this place. I'm sure we'll be back again 😊

Quiet, clean, comfy - great place to relax

Wonderful breakfast - with hot and cold options and excellent plunger coffee. We met other guests in the large dining room featuring high ceilings and beautiful china.

We would have liked to stay longer! The garden is magnificent and large enough to enjoy a long walk without disturbing the guests who were 'glamping' (glamorous camping).

When traveling sometimes water pressure is an issue. This location had great water pressure and lots of hot water….very nice at the end of the day. Anne and Paul are gracious hosts. The location was central to the locations we planned on visiting. Very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful setting with amazing gardens and the manor itself was lovely. Nice having breakfast in the dining room and being able to meet other guests.

Amazing property and grounds around it. The place is unique and charming. It brings you 100 years back in history surrounding you with comfort and style of the time.

Lived the gardens, Alpaca's and company of the hosts. The house has a lovely old world charm, very relaxing atmosphere. Also enjoyed breakfast chatting with people from different nationalities

There was nothing I did not like

Super nice garden, house and room, all very clean and well maintained! A true oasis :-). Breakfast was correct.

We had to drop the second night 11 days in advance due to some unforeseen and forced changes in our itinerary. No flexibility from the hosts side to accommodate despite personal message on reason behind. Once there, expressed sorrow for what had happened and plea to give top rating … doesn’t fit that well. Small additional improvement on breakfast would be fresh versus deep frozen bread.

The location was quiet which we liked and had lovely gardens. Ann and Paul were friendly and made us feel at home. Ann was quick to sort out a new kettle for us when we said that ours wasn't working. Security was very good, keycode needed to enter the property and also our room.

Although our room was comfortable, we felt the place needed a bit of a facelift. It is an older property and some areas looked a bit shabby.

Beautiful BnB in a quaint setting just outside of Hamilton. Nice gardens around the property as well as pretty cool Alpaca’s. The host (owner) was very welcoming and wanted to ensure that everything was perfect. Breakfast with other travelers was really enjoyable to hear their stories and why they were visiting (I think that’s the best part of the BnB experience).

Breakfast was excellent. Hosts are par excellence. Passing by Hamilton without going into city and yet only 10 mins away. Beautiful garden, especially in the Spring. Historic home beautifully maintained

The host was welcoming and very accommodating. good conversationalist. very impressive garden and very cute alpacas which we got to feed. She was very accommodating in respect of breakfast and would wake up early to prepare our breakfast on time. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back! Thanks so much!

Ann is extremely helpful and welcoming and sorted a small miscommunication satisfactorily. The gardens are a lovely bonus and alpacas very friendly. Great breakfast with a little of everything you can imagine
