That you can come to the hotel at anytime

That the instructions about the door code was incorrect in English but right in Finnish

We likes the bathroom size and water pressure. Rooms were comfy and clean. Internet was good. We appreciated the fridges.

Instructions to check-in were not clear. Were told that we could check in early and then it didn't work until 15h. After that, a bit more information on how to actually get to the rooms (as well as the spooky darkness), would be appreciated.

Dirty floors, Dirty underwear from previous guest in the only cupboard of the room. Asked for for cleaning it didn´t happen.

A bit noisy as the room is not soundproof

The hotel located in the shopping mool near the town center - 10 min walk to visit some cafe or restaraunts. Free car parking. Good WiFi. You can use the electric ketle with can and tast coffe or tea. Possibility to use sauna and training center for free.

Nothing

Everything. The pictures are very deceitful. It doesn’t look anything like that. It felt like a dungeon. The door handle was shaky so we didn’t feel safe in the room. I felt like someone could walk in on us any minute. There was no safe box in the room so considering the door situation we couldn’t even leave our passports in the room nor any other valuables such as laptops. The shower looked like it hadn’t been washed in months. It was disgusting. We were so shocked but there was no other place to stay in Salo so we had to stay out of desperation but believe me we actually considered sleeping in the car instead. It was the worst 3 nights stay of my life in any hotel and I’ve traveled all over the world including to third world countries and stayed in better hotels there. As we left, my partner literally said never again.

Clean rooms, easy access

We had ordered breakfast for 2 guests but found only one in the fridge.

There was no breakfast due to Covid restrictions

There should be clearer instructions about parking and clearly marked parking spaces. Is it really the case that hotel guests are only allowed two hours of parking?

I liked that even if arriving at 2.00 am there is easy access to the room

Hotel Salora is located in the former industrial building (Salora radio and tv -factory) which provides a number of "side hobbies", training gym, bowling, inside play park, electronic devices such as rado, tv and mobile phone museum plus one of the largest theatres (350 seats) in southern Finland. We also visited this theatre Provinssi. Our room was spacious and was equipped with a large fridge, micro owen and toaster, so you can also store and make of your meals there. Beds were good and the shower room had a lot of space. Morning breakfast was included and served in the bowling arena cafe, it was good.

The hotel was somewhat out of the Salo city centre, but you can walk to the centre in ten minutes (taxi is around 10 euros). The hotel does not allow pets with you. You also need to have some "orienteering skills" in the building to find your room.
