The property was pretty. The rules were strict, but for my party they were not difficult to follow. It is a family friendly place, there were lots of kids around. The condo was very large and comfortable. There were no walkways to the beach like in the photos. The property was quite a walk to the beach. The views were obstructed by the other resorts and condos. It was very quiet and had great internet once we got it turned on. I would tell others about this place because overall it was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the area very much!!

Overall very good experience, however the Living room furniture is very cheap and uncomfortable, needs to be replaced, loud parties late at night on lower floors. Nice pools and beach access

We had a great stay at Solare. Apartment was very clean and the views are beautiful! The pools are beautiful, and the grounds are kept green and clean.

The family and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo, it was very clean and very well maintained!! Great views from the balcony and it was a short walk to the beach access. Unfortunately, our week went by way too fast!! We will be back, until then.... cheers!

Great stay overall! 2 of the showers had low water pressure in the smaller bathrooms. The view was great and the living quarters were clean.

Amazing location. Kids loved having their own room and bathroom. Pools/Jacuzzis were awesome. Short walk to the beach. Overall experience was just what we needed, more than expected. Hope to be back soon!

Beautiful relaxing place! Truly enjoyed our stay… my husband stated the best vacation ever!

Process was smooth and easy. The condo was clean and very nice. The view was beautiful. Beach access was closer than we thought but definitely would recommend take a wagon.

Would not stay here. They demand you wear a wrist band and never remove it the whole time your there. If you do you are stopped and if you don’t comply they threaten to kick you off the property. Don’t stay here!! You are treated like a prisoner and the apartment had roaches. The management had to call in pest control while we were there.

This was a great place on South Padre Island. The property was clean, people were friendly and responsive to all our needs. I am a bit picky about this stuff and they meet my expectations!

We had a fantastic time

We’ve stayed at a few properties in South Padre, but this place has been our favorite. Photos are accurate and the property is immaculate, check in process easy, plenty of parking.

The room was infested with roaches. The suite was not cleaned, the floor was crummy, bathroom were dirty, sheets may of not been washed. The washer has mildew so gross to attempt to wash. The fridge was not cool after 2 days there. We were unable to bring food in for our children due to the infection. Then we were moved to another room and it was RAID in the new room the Day. We will never return to this resort!

Everything was just fine. You’ll be fine with your stay here.

This is a very clean place to stay with lots of great amenities. I highly recommend it.

The staff at this property were very helpful. The grounds of the property were well manicured and very clean. The condo we stayed in had a very open layout which allowed a lot of natural light in. It was modern and very clean. The location of this property was great and the secured parking lot gave us peace of mind knowing that our vehicle was safe.

Spacious & clean. Easy check in. Nice property. I am thankful for previous reviews that said to bring everything you might need. We brought paper plates, cutlery, condiments, beach chairs, board games etc. One complaint would be renovations (cutting new granite countertops) next door at 8:30am-it was very loud- although I realize it is out of the owners hands. These are the things you have to be prepared for with a condo. Overall we had a great experience.

We had a wonderful time in Padre Island over the Fourth of July weekend. The condo was comfortable for six adults and two children. We did not cook while in the condo, so kitchen essentials were not required. The condo has three bedrooms and three bathrooms which was great for our large group. The water pressure was a bit low, but the water was hot! We Had close access to one of the two pools, and the beach was a short wagon ride ( for the kids ). Beach service is available but it’s not the typical tent and chairs. The service is, however, something that our family appreciates. I think the most enjoyable part of our trip, was the easy access to restaurants shopping and activities in the area. The traffic level was minimal. We felt very safe at all times and the property itself was well managed.

The condo was very nice and spacious. My only complaint is that there was no hot water to one the guest bathrooms and definitely not enough pots and pans for cooking. Also, the washing machine ( front loader) was filled with mold and mildew. Other than that the condo was nice and clean. We had five people in our party but could have easily accommodated a few more. The beach towels that were there for our use were a nice touch. The check in and out process was super easy and quick.

We enjoyed the Condo and its location. It was clean and moderately stocked. The location was good and very easy to get in and out of. The only issue that we had was the Smell. There was a horrible sewer smell 3 of the 6 days we were there. There was also a urine smell in the master bath everyday. We actually went and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom ourselves which helped a little. When complaining to the management company they instructed us to try and contacted the owners and let them know if we don't have any luck. Why even have a management company...

It may be my fault for not reading what's in the home for supplies. I've stayed in a ton of vacation homes and there are always extras in the home to make it feel warm and fuzzy and no bells or whistles in this place. There was an ironing board but no iron No dishwasher soap, we had to buy our own No throw blankets or even extra blankets in the home for the times you are sitting on the couch, No laundry soap, we had to buy our own. No Tupperware for left overs. No salt or pepper or any type of condiments Cooking pans were not very good quality, No supplies at all for the beach, no beach chairs, no ice chest, no ocean toys. The hallway of our condo had an over powering smell in it the entire week we were there. It smelled like cleaning chemicals and we held our breath every time we walked out of the condo until we got on the elevator. I was also disappointed we had to rent a grill to grill our dinner. I would of been happy with charcoal grills if supplying propane is to expensive. I owned a condo on the Ocean in Mexico and we had all kinds of extra items for our guests. What guest is going to bring an ice chest with them if they flew to the area? we had ocean chairs, toys, ice chests and umbrellas, just to name a few. I guess my expectations were high for the price. I paid over $4000 for one week. I had a great vacation because I was with my family and the condo was plenty big enough for our group of 6.

This is a nice end unit condo that feels high-end and was clean upon arrival. Of all the condos we've stayed in at Padre, I liked this layout the best: The master was off on it's own with a balcony, and the other two bedrooms were separated as well so everyone had their own space. The building is well cared for and the staff was friendly.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this condo! It was very well maintained and very spacious. A lot of natural light would radiate through the whole condo which we loved! Although we arrived i on a very rainy weekend. We tried to make the best of it by playing board games, going to different dinner places and enjoying the very warm jacuzzi. Pool was great and very spacious. If one was full we always had another one to go to which was a great balance for everyone staying at the solar Bahia mar. However, if you’re looking for a place with great bedding or you’re picking about them, this is not the place for you. Beds here were terrible. Pillows are hard and seem like the type airplanes use for very long trips so you have something to lay your head out on.....only worse. Beds are hard and very uncomfortable as well as scrappy sheets. No softness at all. I am not a picky sleeper but this one really was terrible for me as well as my family. We also struggled a bit with the A/C. The common area would be very chilly but the bedrooms would be very hot. At night almost my entire family woke up sweating because of how hot it was and the A/C was set to 70. 70 is typically very good for us but not this weekend. Overall, we throughly enjoyed this VRBO. Would probably stay here again if the changed the beds or got something better. Would’ve been 5 stars if it’s weren’t for the beds.

We were a group of 7, two families. Really loved the property and facilities. Has private access to beach with everything around in vicinity. Highly recommended.

The condo is spacious and allows for good functional use for the intended occupancy. The pool, lobby and grounds were well maintained. There is a decent view of the ocean over the tops of adjoining buildings given where it's located. It's a short walk to the beach so if you're truly wanting beach front, you'll need to look at other options. It is well priced for what you get at least in the off-season. For the negatives, if you intend to do any substantial cooking, you'll need to bring your own cookware as it's limited. We didn't have internet or TV in the main room, but had workarounds for just us two. The property manager promptly noted the issue when informed, but didn't fix anything during our stay. The condo overall is tending towards needing a redo, but is still is reasonable shape given the price. Furniture, bedding, and linens are in good condition. It served our needs well and with these considerations would likely make most people happy.

El departamento es tal y como lo anuncian en internet ..... exactamente igual , súper cómodo , los espacios muy muy amplios !!! Y la vista que tiene es espectacular, puedes ver el mar , el jardín la alberca , incluso una parte de la bahía .... pudimos aprovechar las canchas de tenis , y algo que me encanto es que justo a dos propiedades esta un parque público donde pudimos usar las canchas de basquetbol....... RECOMENDADO AMPLIAMENTE !!!!!

We really enjoyed the stay at the condo. It looked just like the online pictures. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Kitchen had sufficient utensils, toaster, blender and cookware. The view from the balcony was really amazing, you could see the pool and the ocean as this apartment is on the 6th floor. The staff in the premises was friendly and we felt safe as it was gated and had security even at the beach entrance. The private beach access made it more enjoyable for my family. My kids loved the pool, which was maintained well. Due to the pandemic it was less crowded so often kids had the pool all to themselves. We would highly recommend this place!
