We enjoyed the house. Very clean and comfortable

David is a great host and constantly communicated with us and checked if we need anything. The house is very charming and character, being an historic home and at this condition was surprising. Location is the most amazing part, it is right next to Forsyth Park, parking is free in front of house and everything is a 15-20 mins walk. Even river street is. For large family gatherings, will 100% recommend.

This house worked great for our family. Close to everything and had everything we needed.

We planned a family vacation with my daughter and family and nephew and family. We met my brother there. He and his wife stayed in a hotel on River Street. We could take the kids to Forsyth Park every morning to play. Right at a Hop On/Hop Off Trolley Stop. $4 Uber ride to the Riverfront. We could put the kids down and have drinks on the top porch. It was really nice!

The home was beautiful. There were just a few housekeeping concerns that I’m sure were just a simple oversight (used contact lenses on a nightstand). Having a broom in the home would have been nice for us to sweep and keep more tidy. Due to the home size, we expected a few more pots and pans or larger pans would have been nice. There were only 2 very small pans. We had to buy one to get us by. The home is conveniently located near a DOT trolly stop. If you plan to spend time on riverfront, this is a huge plus! I would stay again if I had a large group to book for. Thank you!

Great house and location

We were in town for an art exhibit my son was a part of. It was a lovely time.

Location was excellent! Host is a terrific and timely communicator & addressed any issues that arose immediately. However twice it says the "kitchen is fully stocked" and it was not Our most honest and well intentioned feedback to give for suggestions to improve the veracity of the listing ... they should include better bedding for the room as there was not a proper make up of the bed with an appropriate duvet or blanket and bedspread. Perhaps we could recommend they add some no breakable tumbler wine glasses. In addition - The photos on the website do not convey the small room sizes of at least 3 of the bedrooms. The beds in the two lower rear rooms were undersized and uncomfortable, one broke immediately and required repair (they did come quickly to do so). That one actually appeared to be for a large pet versus a person. The kitchen provisions were minimal, almost no food storage or wrap at all, glassware lacked even a basic selection. Really a strange set of items for a home being rented to larger groups. Undersized coffee cups (some chipped) definitely need to be replaced with decent size mugs. Dining set "looked" lovely, but chair cushions were oddly flimsy - almost like furniture used for staging for a sale. One live cockroach in with the oil and spices - we simply elected not to open that cabinet again. VERY steep stairs, both outside and in - the inside flight almost two stories high, was quite a climb to get up to the main living space. While location was excellent, the upstairs back porch area a nice plus and outside street parking available, based on the other drawbacks, esp at this rate, would try somewhere else next time around.

Very clean, well taken care of, and nice place to stay compared to most. Location was convenient. There were a couple of small items found broken at check-in, but the owner was accessible and responsive. My family was in town for a funeral and appreciated the ability to book a very clean, comfortable place to stay on short notice and be together.

Good location, clean, well equipped. Enough space for gathering as well as privacy, both indoors and out. Responsive owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The property has a great location and allows folks to spread out, unpack, and unwind. Amenities allowed for everyone to have a great trip and close to our venue for the wedding weekend

Our stay in Savannah at the waldburg house was great! Plenty of room for 10 girls. Location was good, it is about a mile and a half walk to River street which was no problem for our group. My only advise would be to make sure to take extra paper products for the kitchen. Would definitely rent again for another trip!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property. The property was clean and well kept. I love the fact that the property manager was easily accessible via email. The was beautiful both inside and out. Our only negative was that the property was advertised as "sleeps 12," but two of the rooms had very small beds, which made sleeping arrangements difficult for my family of 10. The number of people that the home sleeps should probably be decreased on the website to about 8. Also, it would have been nice if the home had more than 2 televisions (1 in the main living room and the other in the master bedroom, both on the second floor).

We celebrated my Moms 80th birthday party. We had a great time. One thing to be aware of is all the living space is on the 2nd floor. So if steps are a problem this won’t work

Beautifully updated and spacious for a large group, this home is more than meets the eye. Our Savannah adventures kept us out of the house more than I’d like to When we did have an opportunity to sit on the front porch and enjoy the view of Forsyth park, it was a dream—always wanted to do this! Be sure to check out Savannah bicycles across directly on other side of the park—their eBikes were such fun. Read comments on this home and know that kitchen and one of the master bedrooms are upstairs—if you have anyone in party who cannot walk stairs comfortably this may not be the house for them. The amount of bathrooms is this house allows a large group plenty of space for everyone to get ready simultaneously. Quiet location with easy access to waking to restaurants — we loved the sentient bean and Collins quarter. It’s everything you are looking for—you’re going to LOVE it!

The house is great. Modern, comfortable, everything works, steps from the park coffee place and organic grocery store. I have nothing negative to say. The bathrooms are updated and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of room inside and out to hang with your people. Parking is not an issue. You have one spot but there were plenty of spots for our other family members. We walked to downtown mostly, but there is a bus, and lots of ubers too. It is an updated older home but the floors and walls are solid no creaking floors. The kitchen had all we needed. We played cards and hung out mostly upstairs in the main room. There is a public tennis court across the street so bring your tennis gear if you play. The park felt safe lots of families around. Beautiful area book with confidence the owner is easy to work with.

We are a large family. It was a great location and perfect for a daily with older kids.

The house was very good. However. 2 of the bedrooms (beds) were very small and 1 of them had a daybed which was not good for our age group (70 years and older). Also the on-line ad said it was a 5 bedroom, 5 baths when actually it was 4 full baths and 1/2 bath which was upstairs and not close to the 4 bedrooms downstairs so 2 couples had to share a bathroom.

The living & kitchen, along with one bedroom are upstairs. My elderly father was only able to make it upstairs once during the stay. I brought him his coffee & breakfast in the morning. We were out the remainder of the day. Great location, but difficult for elderly who have difficulty navigating stairs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home ! We loved sitting on the front porch and having views and immediate access to beautiful Forsyth Park. We walked for coffee and brunch at the fabulous restaurant in the park , Collins at Forsyth then journeyed down Bull St through the squares to explore the rest of the Historic District . We loved that there were three full baths and one half bath ... Something hard to find in some old Victorian Homes !

Awesome house!

We were forced to leave our house in Savannah due to A bit of water damage and we are very hesitant to live in downtown Savannah but this location was absolutely wonderful right next to the park with offstreet parking and a small backyard for our dog it was absolutely wonderful my kids want to go back down there for vacation this summer

Gorgeous home in beautiful historic district! Hosts were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating! We didn't need all the rooms but appreciated the space! Lovely home, very clean, and wonderful little extras like coffee and Disney+. We will absolutely stay again!
