Very friendly and generous owner who greeted us with a smile. We even had a delicious breakfast brought to our room. Overall a great small motel with a warm and caring couple who made sure we would feel totally comfortable during our stay and we did.

There were many beautiful personal touches, from the initial meet and greet, with ideas of interesting outings given. Delicious breakfast with a different menu each morning, delivered with a smile and presented exceptionally. Central enough to walk to most of where we wanted to go, but far enough out to be quiet and private.

Our only issue was that the bed was too soft for our comfort. However, this is not enough to deter us from wanting to return in the future.

Excellent , large breakfasts but....

...no obvious way to choose smaller breakfasts or alternatives when the fixed menu wasn't suitable.

Bed was ok but pillows need replacing. Room not particularly clean, cobwebs in corner of room. Door to bathroom difficult to open and shut. Room was old and badly needs refreshing. Condensation on windows. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone or stay agaiin

Was very handy to walk to the bars and shops. Loved the breakfast that Trevor bought to our room each morning. Very clean and tidy. Most definitely go back there next time we are there.

There is a free breakfast brought to your room each morning, and different each day. There is a main item, (omelet, bagel w/salmon) and a nice fruit plate. The location is about a ten minute walk from the main part of town and right across the road from the Paihia to Opua trail start. This end of the trail is only available at low tide. If the tide is up, walk over the hill on the sidewalk until the beach is there. Cross over a bridge and into the bush on the left to finish this great walk.

This was one of the only places where the water tasted bad enough to make us buy bottled water.

The location is fantastic. The family is spacious and well stocked with the essentials. The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfasts are outstanding. Far exceeded our expectations. The price for the accommodation is very fair for the property.

Our only issue was water pressure in the shower which was very weak.

Booked this up as somewhere for me and my parents , who are visiting me from the UK and we were absolutely overwhelmed by how nice and well kept the apartment was , not only that , but also how welcome we were made to feel , top marks to Trev the owner for taking good care of us and for the brekky which was top dollar too , will Defo be back on the next Pahia trip

Loved this motel. Location excellent. Good sized living room, comfortable big rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was brilliant and made with so much attention (bagel with salmon and cream cheese on day 1 and fab omelette on day 2). Staff extremely kind and accommodating ( we had to move our booking by a day and they did this for us). They also went above and beyond with cleaning and even folded our clothes. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The location was perfect. The room was a good size. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great and care was taken to address gluten free diet needs. Trevor was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

The sliding door to the bathroom/ toilet needs to be repaired as it had come off it's track and was difficult to close. This problem was mentioned to the motel manager who was aware of this
