Went for a family vacation getaway!!

We enjoyed our stay very much at this property, everything was clean, spacious and we especially enjoyed the private pool. Our Host, Dr Garza was very prompt at getting back to me with any questions i had. We would definitely book again in the future!

Wonderful stay. I'm glad we picked this place. Spacious enough for our party of 12. The beach supplies there were perfect, the house was clean, the pool was nice, and the house had everything we needed for a toddler. We didn't have any issues, and the owner was very nice and answered all of our questions prior to our trip to help us prep. I definitely recommend this place.

This property was perfect for the four of us. There were plenty of bedrooms for each of us to spread out and enough communal space to come together. The beach is a short walk away from the property and close enough to resorts to rent loungers (we did not use beach equipment provided). The pool on the property needs some attention; however we still had a great time. The elevator was perfect for bringing items up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. We really liked being able to use the garage. The location is close enough to resorts for dining as well. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this property to friends and family.

We stayed at this home the week after Thanksgiving with our son and his family and our daughter and her family. The home easily accommodated the 10 of us with plenty of space and privacy. The weather wasn't ideal while we were there so we were only able to use the beach one day, but the heated pool in the backyard saved the day for our grandkids. It was warm and clean, and provided hours of fun for the family.
The location of the home was easy to get in and out of, and was a short drive to stores etc. It is not in the heart of the "action" but for our family needs it was fine.
The pros of the home:
It's location! Literally 3 min walk to the beach. The home has some beach chairs, toys, wagon etc, but some of the chairs were "tired"
The pool towels were provided
It's size and the elevator to take you from the ground floor to the 3rd floor. The heated pool.
The well equipped kitchen.
Comfortable beds.
The cons:
The property is a little worn. The landscaping could be freshened, and it all could use a good power washing.
The interior was clean for the most part but some food was left in the cupboard and the ants had moved it, but we were able to clean out the cabinet, and the ants eliminated.
The living room furniture could be updated. The couches were a bit uncomfortable but for the family it was fine.
As far as the host, Joe, he couldn't have been more responsive and helpful! He was great to work with!

The property is located in a great spot to both get to the beach or stores quickly on foot. Plenty of space in the unit with all the floors and the elevator is great for getting luggage to third floor. I could nit pick odds and ends but there’s no need to because all the good outweighs the bad in this unit. Owner was quick to respond to needs and was generous to leave toilet paper, spices, and a few condiments in fridge. Not everyone does that. We enjoyed the nature bird center, driving/walking down to UFO beach, incredible sunsets, and lots of photo opportunities since we stayed over Christmas. This town must be really neat during the peak season!

House was more than big enough for 8 of us. Local restaurants were great. Loved spending time exploring the beach and the shops. A few minor problems but the host was quick to respond and help us solve the problems in a timely manner. House was clean and centrally located.

This home has to be the best VRBO my family has ever rented. Top notch everything! Beds were comfy and sheets were so luxurious! We all enjoyed the pool and a very short walk to the beach! Couldn’t have asked for anything! Even down to the toilet paper - Charming. No cheap stuff here. And a BIG plus was the elevator! Saved this old ladies knees from having to climb the stairs. WE WILL STAY AGAIN AT THIS HOME!

We stayed 5 nights at the condo, the elevator was wonderful because my husband has some knee issues. Plus much easier getting bags to rooms. The Kitchen area was our favorite and balcony's looking over pool. We enjoyed our stay; the owner was great to work with us on any issues we had. Loved hanging out at the pool and beach. Would stay there again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially me! I had hip surgery two months prior to our annual Padre trip and I really appreciated the elevator. I was able to go between the 3 floors with ease. We all appreciated the elevator when we first arrived and was able to take everything to the second and third floors. It was within minutes of walking to the beach and beach access. The family was too tired to go to the beach on Saturday night to watch the fireworks but found we could see them from the living room windows which was a nice surprise. We only had one problem this year, which had nothing to do with the property, and this was the mosquitoes!! Made it difficult for some of us to enjoy the balconies. So, if you are going to Padre make sure you have insect spray with you. All in all, we really enjoyed staying in this property.

This was my first time using Vrbo and the property exceeded my expectations. The location is great, about a block from the beach. The house is well equipped and some extras. The kids loved the pool. The stairs are a workout but having the elevator comes in handy when dealing with the luggage.Mr. Garza was responsive to my questions/concerns. The only thing I would point out is pool maintenance person coming unannounced. But, overall I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely book the property again.

The property was exactly as described, the last night of our stay a terrible storm blew the power from 1 am to about 10 am. Our host was so understanding he extended our checkout time. Our host also was very responsive to our text when we closed the elevator door without closing the inside first. Looking forward to staying here again in our next family vacation.

Everything about this property was incredible! Location was a very quick easy walk to the beach. The weather was not in our favor so we didn't use the beach gear the house provided, but everything we would've needed was all there for our use.
The house was clean and very spacious. The elevator was appreciated for getting groceries and luggage to the upper floors. The kids loved the pool!
Joe was easy to contact and always quick with his responses.

Having the elevator was an added plus because 2 of us have replaced knees and the stairs would have been murder. The pool was heated so even though it was colder than normal a couple of us still enjoyed the pool. We will definately stay here again

The pool was so warm my kids loved it. the beach is within walking distance like two blocks away. Having an elevator in this three story home was so perfect for my mom especially because there is no bedroom on the middle floor where the kitchen /living room is. There is plenty of bath towels and beach towels! We would definitely stay here again.

This was a fantastic house. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy this year's Sand Castle Days and the beach (just a short walk away). The pool was so refreshing and gave us a perfect place to relax in the evenings. Beds were comfortable. Gas grill worked like a champ. I would definitely stay at this property again.

This was our tearly event for our daughters birthday and we landed on tranquil tortuga. The kitchen had everything we need and more. Rooms were clean and inviting. The master bedroom and bath was spectacular. Elevator was a blessing for seniors. Pool was heated. Couldn’t ask for a better vacation.

It took getting used to being on 3 floors, but the elevator made it work, especially when we had to carry heavy items (or tired people) from one floor to the next. Rooms were all nicely furnished where we didn't need to bring anything. The beach is 1.5 blocks away, but easy to reach, but the Pool was great & became our central gathering spot.

Had a wonderful vacation with my daughters and my friends with their teen/young adult kids. Easily accommodated our large group. Comfortable, clean, well-appointed and great location. Would definitely stay here again!

The positives: Location, ac worked great, WiFi had strong signal, space met all family needs. Owner very responsive.
The negatives: Kitchen was very unorganized, described beach equipment was dirty and cluttered. No bikes. Dishwasher broke after first day and no compensation was offered.
Overall we enjoyed the property….we use vrbo quite often and I would say this is not the worst property but not the best either….a medium.
The island was great. Enjoyed the beach, horseback riding, water park , turtle hospital and restaurants….one of my favorite locations in Texas.

We stayed a week at this property. It was a 3-5 minute walk to the beach which was wonderful. This home was very comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Loved the elevator where we could put all our luggage and groceries and not having to lug everything up stairs. Overall a very nice stay and would recommend this home.
