We had a great stay at Tropical Dream. It was clear the owners had decorated it with love and an artistic eye. The house was very clean, we got help immediately when we asked for it. And the walk to the beach was very short. Plus everything you could possibly need was there. They even had a small air compressor for blowing up pool toys. The pool was beautiful! The ice machine, the beach wagons, the beach toys were all great. They even had multiple camp chais that you could take to the beach and two coolers. You really don’t have to bring anything but your self and your clothes!

We visit South Padre multiple times a year, but this was our first time staying off of the beach. I was a bit nervous it would be less enjoyable, but this property was so amazing - I would definitely stay here again!
The walk to the beach was just as convenient as many of the walks from ocean-view condos. The owners also provided everything needed for a beach day, while also provided so many amenities provided on the property, we almost didn't want to leave it!
From the landscaping, to the choices made inside - it was beautiful, comfortable, and even felt cosy for a large space! It was perfect for our large group.
Highlights: the comfortable beds, the ice machine (amazing!!!), ceiling fans in every room, the pool table and game room in general, the pool area and landscaping around it, the comfy large couch and giant table that everyone could sit around in the living area, the shaded patio, and the entire house cooling so well.
You could tell that the owners invested a lot into the property and were very intentional about every decision. We had everything we needed to enjoy our trip and then some! HIGHLY recommend!

Eventing about the house was amazing. They spared no expense on all the tile work. The only negative thing is we showed up about 20 minutes early and there was a truck in the driveway. I went in and looked around and finally found 2 women out by the pool. I stuck my head out the back door and said hello. The lady looked at me and said "management ". I said "excuse me". Then she said we're management and check in is not until 4. I was like how rude but i didn't say anything i just left. We had kids that needed to pee and my grandbabies needed their diapers changed so we drove down to the gas station. Every VRBO Ive ever stayed in you could arrive 30 minutes to an hour early no problem. Id understand if she was housekeeping and got behind washing clothes, but she was outside messing with a water house lol. Other than her being rude it was s good experience.

We rented home for a small family reunion for my mom’s 90th birthday. This home will not disappoint! Close to beach, close to Blvd, 2 downstairs bedrooms, no steep staircase, 2 upstairs bedrooms, large kitchen and dining area, large living room and a mini kitchen with fridge downstairs. Bathrooms are very spacious. Home extremely clean. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, dishes, etc. Love this home. Another plus…great owners. Very helpful and very easy to communicate with.

This property was perfect for the second time! These hosts have thought of literally everything you could imagine to make your stay enjoyable and easy!! We were able to travel lighter knowing they had so many things we needed for the beach and home on site already. All of the little details from the cute matching decor in each room that is themed to the tiny things like having a cooler to use on the beach…they’ve thought of it all!! Well worth the price! Beautiful location! The beach access down the street is awesome! We definitely plan to stay here any time we come to the island in the future! Thank you for providing such a wonderful vacation experience!! Oh, and if you love Tetris as much as I do, don’t plan to get any sleep, the arcade is addicting!!! 😊

This house was amazing. All that was described in the home, was accurate. Our family had no complaints. We were in awe in we first walked in. It was not only because of the decor but also the beautiful backsplash around the home, kitchen and bathrooms. There was plenty of room for everyone in our family that came into town to enjoy their vacation. The owners thought of everything when they put this vacation home together; for families of all ages, even fur-babies were taken into account. The backyard and pool is just the perfect size. Plenty of seating for everyone. Love that they have plenty of beach towels. Our family loved the ice machine (for us that was a bonus). As we love to use a lot of ice in our drinks. Our family did not go the beach because we enjoyed the pool. It is nice to know that the owners have plenty of beach gear in their home for your use and you do not have to pack those items from home. We will definitely use this home again when we head back to SPI. A friend of mine already asked for information on this home.

This property was great. My kids loved it had a pool table and an arcade machine in the bottom floor. Nice pool outside and owners have a great classy home that felt cozy and plenty of room and we had 16 people. Would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. Thanks for the stay we really enjoyed it.

Great stay…super host and on island management…very responsive to questions throughout stay. Plenty of space and very clean. The downstairs game room and access to pool were terrific. Our granddaughter could not get enough of the pool! Awesome shading in afternoon around pool made it a great place to hangout and enjoy the evenings. Ice machine downstairs was a great bonus! Loved the huge dining table, plenty of space for the seven adults, 5 year old and 6 month old to enjoy meals together. Kitchen could have used some pantry space for grocery items, but was well stocked with everything needed to cook and prep meals. Parking was a little tight for our four vehicles, but we made it work. Overall a great house/location. Will definitely consider for future trips to SPI!

The house was amazing. Just as described honestly better in person. Short walk or golf car drive to the beach. The pool was so nice, It was really nice to have a whole pool to ourselves. I have two littles that Couldn’t do the beach a long time and the pool was perfect for them. The game room was a fun, when we weren’t at the beach or getting ready for bed the adults enjoyed a nice game of pool. The beds were comfortable and was nice having a fridge both up and downstairs. Everyone in our family had a wonderful time and honestly look forward to next year!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful house!

The goal of our vacation was to have a place where kids 8-11 and teens could be self entertained so the adults could have fun.
Heated pool, pool toys, beach gear, beach toys, pool table, arcade, etc.
Kitchen appliances where great to make meals and a bonus grill/smoker. Bonus was ice maker.
Great location, 1/2 block from beach, restaurants, ice cream, shops, liquor store.
Short drive for groceries.
Great communication from managing party.

We all enjoyed our stay at Tropical Dream! The house is decorated beautifully, loved the artwork, gorgeous tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen is a dream. There was plenty of room for all of us! We spent a lot of time in the pool. The kids loved the karaoke machine! The time at the beach was awesome and it was a short walk to get there. It was a good location, there are so many restaurants in the area. We loved it and would definitely stay again. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dishes. We were a little surprised that there were no kitchen food staples provided and only 2 rolls of TP and 1 roll of paper towels. But that was no big deal! We had a great week! Thank you!!!!

The weather was really terrible this year, so this house was the perfect place to be stuck inside with the family. The owners spared no expense remodeling the house. The tiles throughout the house were gorgeous, plus the beadboard ceilings and fabulous kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked, there is not one thing I missed having. Considering we cooked a thanksgiving meal, that’s impressive! The only problem we had is the pool heater broke just before we got there. But the manager and owner worked with us and kept me informed. A great comfortable house for a family!

This property is on a nice, quiet street close to the beach. Everything was spotless and super clean! We had one small issue with the pool heater but the owners and Amber went above and beyond to remedy the issue as quick as possible and make everything right! Really appreciate that since the last place we stayed in Padre just told us they didn’t care when we had an issue there. Couldn’t ask for better communication or a more cozy, fun place to stay! Already coming back next year because we loved it so much!!

Beautiful property and just a couple minutes walk to the beach. Had all the necessaties we needled for a beach day and a pool day! Property managers were quick to respond and place was just overall amazing.

Our small family has been isolated for the duration of the pandemic for medical reasons, so we really needed an escape. The Tropical Dream far exceeded our expectations; the home is beautiful and well-appointeda gorgeous stretch of beach is only steps away; and the pool is fantastic! We can’t wait to return!

Kitchen and Bathrooms were pretty.Pool area was comfortable and nice and pleasing to look at. Beds were comfortable.
The closet is well stocked with beach towels, toys for the sand, boogie boards, chairs and ext.
We had 2 year old twins and they could not unlock the doors nor slide them open. Which was good.

Plenty of room for everyone. Clean huge pool. Very modern updated home. Everything thing was perfect except that the master bathroom shower had very poor drainage.
