Great proximity to town and river valley

We had a great time. Susan was lovely and a great hostess. The location was a 5 minute walk from about everything. It was an amazing stay. It ended with a herd of elk just outside the front door which made for some nice parting photos!!

This was our second trip to Banff and we knew we wanted to stay within walking distance to downtown because parking in downtown can be difficult. We couldn’t have made a better choice. This delightful B&B was clean and well-maintained, our bed was amazing, and we felt right at home. Susan, our host, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed her wonderful breakfasts every morning, as well as her fun conversations. This is THE place to stay in Banff and we look forward to staying there next time.

The Poplar Inn is in the perfect location. You can walk to everything in Banff.

The Poplar Inn is run by Susan, a delightful woman who has spent most of her life in Banff. The property is just a 5-minute walk from town, but delightfully away from the crowds. The room was clean and comfortable, and Susan provided a delicious breakfast every morning. I will happily stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Banff.

Great bed and breakfast in a perfect location. The Inn was very clean, property well maintained and the breakfasts were delicious. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops, Roam bus stations and tour pickups. We really enjoyed our stay in Banff and enjoyed meeting Susan and the other guests at breakfast.

The property was exactly as described. Everything you need as a base to explore Banff and come back to a comfortable evening. Breakfast was beautifully prepared by the host and came with engaging conversation as a bonus. Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay in Banff!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Banff in early August. The room/ bathroom was clean and the location was great! The BnB was close to the downtown core near the restaurants and shops. The host also made us a delicious breakfast and was very friendly. Would definitely return! Thanks for a great stay!

Home away from home
Breakfast was just as pictured and very delicious. On our departure day we needed to leave 1.5 hours earlier than when breakfast was to be served. We did not leave with empty stomachs! A glass of juice and flavorful muffin was waiting for us on our way out 😃
