Room was clean and modern. Breakfast included was nice but you need to go to another location to get it.

Twice during our stay, room service entered our room and left the door unlocked. On one occasion the door was left wide open while my partner and I were sleeping naked… The first time was when we left the hotel during the day and locked the door on our way out. When we returned our door was unlocked. Second time was when we were napping in the evening and we were both awoken by loud talking outside in the hallway. When we looked up our door was wide open and I quickly hopped out of bed to close and lock it. First time: Perhaps I forgot, I wouldn’t be writing this review Second time: No longer a coincidence. I always check my doors. When I called the owners the person who answered immediately took to blaming me for not locking the door (which is something I always double check by impulse) and then blamed changes of air pressure in the hallway for my door being left wide open??? Anyway, the room itself is nice enough so if you need to stay one night in the area, it works. Just make sure you leave a ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door at all times, or your room might be accessed while you are napping and the door left wide open.

Cosy room, quiet location, only around a 10 minute walk into town. Easy to check in and out. Had a fantastic buffet breakfast at their sister hotel a few minutes walk down the road which was included.

Floor very creaky in the bedroom, always felt on edge walking around as I can only imagine the noise of it in the room downstairs. Plenty of critters in the bathroom, went to have a shower to find around 5 wood louse in the bath. When I looked up at the lights, every one was filled with dead ones!
